You feel very comfortable in the apartments, each apartment is furnished differently. Ms. Lingg is friendly, accommodating and also talks to her guests.

Communication by email didn't work so well, but we were assured of the booking over the phone. It wasn't a problem that we arrived late in the evening. The holiday apartments are quietly located on the outskirts of town. In 20 minutes you can walk to the Nebelhornbahn, as well as 20 minutes to the train/bus station. You can enjoy the bread roll service from 6:30 a.m. There is a washing machine and dryer (2 euros each). By the way, WiFi is free, so no longer 7 euros per week, as stated in a previous review. The mountain railway was also included in the price, which made the apartment a real bargain. We lived in the Gentianroot apartment, which is in the basement via a staircase with a separate entrance. We were aware that the apartment was very small and it didn't bother us. Very tall / corpulent people may feel a bit cramped in the bathroom and kitchen. The couch is also not suitable as a third bed as it is only 1.60 m wide. The apartment is clean and functionally furnished. Everything you need is available in the kitchen, the small refrigerator with freezer compartment and the two hotplates are sufficient, you don't want to spend the whole vacation standing at the stove. Electrical appliances include a kettle, coffee maker, egg cooker and toaster. There are plenty of nice, soft towels and we were even offered other blankets if they were too warm. The beds creaked quite a bit, but only when lying down or getting up. We slept well on the fairly firm mattresses. It's difficult to reach the socket in the bathroom, so it's helpful to take an extension cable with you. Hairdryer is available. Two pairs of hiking poles and a really comfortable backpack were provided for us at our apartment. Great! Since the gentian root apartment doesn't have a balcony, we were able to sit comfortably at a table in the garden. We were completely satisfied, many thanks to the Lingg family for the wonderful time!

The 4 apartments in the hunting lodge are highly recommended. The location can be recommended for cross-country skiers because you only have to walk 2 minutes to the Oberstdorf circuit (Fuggerhof entrance)! It's only a 10 minute walk to Oberstdorf center.
