After 2 weeks in the VB in AUG/SEP 24, we are surprised at the many almost glowing reviews. Unfortunately, these and the photos seduced us to book in advance with the VB.What we liked about the VB was primarily the location (quiet & central) as well as the convenient underground parking for cars and bicycles.Our apartment was furnished in a minimalist style throughout: faded hand and bath towels, 1.5 rolls of toilet paper + 2 tabs for the dishwasher (for 2 weeks!). Extractor hood with high risk of head injuries. Furniture extremely clunky, heavy and without felt gliders. Couch & chairs hard & uncomfortable. Chairs & tables on the balcony rusted and marked by the harsh sea climate. Unfortunately, many of them have very clear signs of wear.The advertised Internet TV didn't really work for two weeks and we weren't granted HD TV. Complaints led to nothing.Our experience is therefore only enough for a 2/5.For us, the beautiful Kühlungsborn deserves a 5/5 with white beaches, commendable infrastructure and a relaxed, casual atmosphere. And of course the great landscape in the HWI-SN-HRO triangle and the consistently fantastic weather!

I liked it except for one flaw. Just in time for the weekend (Saturday / Sunday) the WiFi is not available, which then runs again from Monday to Friday.

We had a great holiday at Villa Borwin. The communication with the landlord in advance, when handing over the keys and with requests is very professional and very friendly. A lot has already been written about the great location and the very good cleanliness. Here you can feel that the satisfaction of holidaymakers is very important.What can be improved? First and foremost, this is the limited kitchen equipment. As 3 people in an apartment designed for 5 people, we only had 4 forks, a few knives and a pan that was past its best. The positive thing is that after a complaint, a replacement arrived the next day. It would be desirable if the equipment were checked in advance. Some additional storage space in the bathroom would be nice, especially if you are using the holiday apartment with several people.All in all a very nice holiday apartment, we will come back!

We have been here 7 times and always feel comfortable. The apartments are always super clean and we have never found any defects. When the hairdryer broke once, we had a replacement hanging on the door 2 hours later. The location is perfect. The bakery is a stone's throw away and the beach can be reached in 2 minutes. We can recommend Villa Borwin 100% and will book here again and again.

Perfectly located. Approx. 100 meters to the beach. + slightly offset from the shopping street. Everything is within walking distance to your daily needs. Quiet . Brilliant for us. The villa is clean + very well maintained by the house staff.

This will be our sixth time here. A super friendly staff, great service is always available. The location is simply great, quiet in the second row, but full of life after 50 m. The apartments are well and functionally equipped and the bathrooms are great. Given that my wife is dependent on a wheelchair, there is enough space in the apartment and in the bathroom and everything is barrier-free. It is a 1000 m promenade walk to the beach for severely disabled people in Buhne 8.The ideal holiday home for us - thank you and see you soon

Spacious apartment, good facilities, furnishings suit my taste (Skandi style), quiet location in the 2nd row but very close to the center and the beach. The only drawback: it is usually shady on the terrace because of the dense development. Otherwise: highly recommended!

Very friendly reception when handing over the keys.The apartment is very tastefully decorated and appears to be very well maintained. There are enough cupboards and storage space available. The bathroom is spacious and practical. The description of the apartments is very precise. The location in the second row on the beach street is perfect and quiet. Everything is within walking distance.What we didn't like so much:The equipment in the kitchen is minimalist.E.g. 4 forks, 4 knives, 5 water glasses, 4 breakfast plates etc., a sieve that is so small that you can't even drain pasta for 2 people in it.So you wash everything by hand or start the dishwasher with a 1/4 load. This doesn't make sense given the increased energy costs.We were looking forward to the box spring bed and expected a soft topper. Our mistake! The bed has a very hard mattress and no soft topper..Despite the criticisms mentioned above, we really liked it.

Great apartment in the 2nd row of Kühlungsborn's promenade, quiet and centrally located. Restaurants, bakers, and especially the beach in the immediate vicinity. The landlord always has an open ear and the caretaker and cleaner are also available directly and in a very friendly manner if there are any problems. Thank you for the relaxing days and we will definitely be back.
