NRW family time! 🤩We were very lucky to be able to spend a week on Langeoog with the help of NRW Familien-Erholung/or. the Diakonie Ruhr. For me as a single mother, it was an enormous relief when the child was allowed to move around freely somewhere and meet other children without hindrance, without having to constantly apologize or ask for an audience with overly critical parents beforehand. The children seemed to really enjoy it too. Especially in rainy weather there was a great atmosphere between the dining room and the playroom....

A very nice house with a perfect location. Family friendly atmosphere. Lots of activities for children (crafts, borrowing games, reading aloud). The house is very clean and is kept clean inside and out every day. Friendly and helpful staff. Laundry rooms very clean and clear. Billiard table, table football and reading room. Fantastically beautiful. We'd love to come back. Thank you very much

We like the rooms under the roof with a view of the North Sea. A good place to stay for us. Everything you need is there, the beds are comfortable, the bathroom is big enough and everything works great, it's clean... and there's a coffee machine in the shared kitchen. We miss the breakfast that was offered years ago. OK - some corners could use painting/renovation - but the price/performance ratio is unbeatable ‼️😁👍

The apartments vary considerably in terms of standard. From modern white furnishings to old youth hostel style with few windows and little kitchen equipment. The new beach chairs in front of the house are great. The bricked-up reception desk, which is only open for hours, makes the whole thing seem a bit impersonal. The public spaces are lovingly designed. It's great that there are washing machines.Contrary to the name, there is not much sense of living faith. The FSJ members also seem to be recruited regardless of their faith. We had bad experiences, which partly affected the children. was given.Due to the in-house Corona concept, children are not allowed in the small playroom or the large playroom with slide during the day. Or in the latter case, the children are allowed to slide exactly once a day after the bedtime story... our children wanted to come back precisely because of the room... and for us parents, this important space for the kids to play independently is no longer available. It's a shame - it could be done in a much more committed and creative way. So it was difficult to come into contact with other children.Unfortunately, child care was also very rare. The local lawnmower driver/janitor stares at the tw mothers...uncomfortably.Due to the limited offers, a price reduction would be appropriate, because it no longer fits into the overall package.A lot could be done with the property, filled with spiritual and human life. Be encouraged to attack this again & be a creative, loving blessing to families!

The location is very good! I've been here several times, but it's never been as bad as this year! The cleanliness of the apartments needs improvement! It can be old, but not dirty. The latter can be found throughout the house, which creates a bad, cheap feeling and the feel-good factor suffers greatly. I would visit the place again at any time, but would choose another accommodation.

Despite the purchase, the WiFi is really bad and the lady at reception is very rude and shows a lot of disinterest. I wouldn't recommend staying here.
