New operators who are just getting used to it. The menu will be expanded with the employment of a new chef next week. The previous dishes taste great and the service is super quick.So our regulars are completely satisfied.

We've been there every week for 30 years. The current operator has the best food offering, always something special on the first page of the menu. Well garnished. And he also gives regular guests one out. This hasn't happened for a long time 🍺

Newly opened Sokol - nice service, excellent food at a great price, the owner took over the restaurant about two weeks ago, so various modifications are planned, but the minor shortcomings are compensated by good food and great effort

If there were 0 stars I would be very happy to give them. First of all, I would like to mention that there were other operators before where everything always worked well. Olbernhau residents enjoyed using the restaurant and it was always full at lunchtime. Apparently there was a change of operator. First of all, it should be said that my husband learned CZ for two years and even now, after many years, understands what is being said. We ordered a tonic and a white wine on CZ. The man first brought us wine and water. 🫤 The much older couple seemed overwhelmed with the order. After objection, the man then brought ginger ale instead of the requested tonic. After objection, the owner and at the same time his son called “Domennik” was called. He had previously been told in great detail that we were evil guests and not willing to pay. I was handed the phone and asked to explain what my problem was. He also didn't understand the difference in his own menu between tonic and ginger ale. For him it was all about the manufacturer. For him that means tonic even if the bottle says ginger ale. He really likes itSomeone who gives you one on one straight away. No apology, nothing. 😡 The menu has also been reduced by 80%. When we asked for the bill we were presented with 90 crowns. I offered a 10 euro note for payment. Converted, this would have been 3.75 euros. After 10 minutes they gave me 7 euros back. 🤣 The couple didn't get that baked either. Since we're being honest, I gave her the euro and explained the incorrect calculation. Nobody there understood that either. The restaurant used to be full at that time. Today it was empty. After asking locals, the experience has now become permanent. It's a shame.☹️ Please sell to people who know the difference between tonic and ginger ale, can cook and don't reduce the menu by 80%. You don't know your own menu when it comes to drinks, and you can't do the math either. Neither is service or respect. Our conclusion: Please sell to someone who knows something about gastronomy or the simplest things about it. I'm assuming you'll have this post deleted.

Food not even worth one star. Extremely unpleasantly loud place. The waitress didn't even point out that it should be quieter. Food, I had never eaten anything so bad anywhere. Meat was already dead three times. Dumplings were rubbery, even the pancakes were rubbery. You could clearly notice the ping food. Plates extremely disgustingly prepared. The side salad seems to have been put on the plate early on. You can't recommend something like that.

Clear 5 stars for this quaint restaurant. The staff is very nice, everything is clean and the food tastes very good. The waiting times were short and, above all, our toddler was well looked after. High seat, cutlery etc. everything was no problem. It should actually go without saying, but unfortunately it often isn't. Everything fits here. The card is also available in German and payment is possible in euros. There is also an outdoor seating area for eating in the sun. We'll be back! Deserved 5 stars!!!!
