We were guests in the guesthouse for three days and are thrilled with the beautiful suite with the stylish furnishings, the beautiful ceiling and the very courteous service. The breakfast is phenomenal, very varied and of excellent quality.

The guesthouse rooms are beautifully furnished. There is a lovingly prepared breakfast. The staff is very accommodating. The location, in the middle of the old town, is perfect. There are restaurants on every corner.

We stayed in the Pension Donatus from September 1st to 6th, 2024. As you can see from the stars: everything is great, almost everything. Some problems are not the responsibility of the pension. I'll point it out anyway: full understanding for monument protection, but doesn't people's safety come first? It cannot be the case that a spiral staircase (high risk of falling) is preferred to a safe elevator. It should also not be the case that if a fire breaks out, guests have no way of escaping.

We were guests at the Pension Donatus from August 26th to September 1st, 2024. The guesthouse is wonderfully located in the middle of the old town. The rooms were very nicely decorated and equipped. The breakfast was also very lovingly prepared. Special requests were quickly fulfilled. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Parking in the fully automated parking garage is up to date and completely acceptable at €10 per day. If we come to Pirna again to hike, Pension Donatus will be our first choice.

Very hospitable and accommodating, we felt very welcome. The house and the rooms are historic and modern at the same time, and the self-controlled parking garage is innovative and helpful. We'd love to come back.

We felt very comfortable. This was certainly one of the best guesthouses we have stayed at in recent years. Above all, the very friendly and extremely helpful employees stood out. Great breakfast buffet (large selection, lots of homemade items). We used the parking option in the neighborhood garage in the building. The automatic lift is initially unusual, but easy to understand (you drive in like you're in a car wash and at the push of a button the car disappears into the depths or comes up again) and is definitely better than many narrow parking garages. Location is central near the market square but quiet in the beautiful old town. There are many good restaurants in the immediate vicinity. Rooms are tastefully decorated. We were there for four nights and therefore booked one of the larger rooms (premium room no. 6). For people with walking difficulties: The rooms on the first and second floors can only be reached via a spiral staircase. There is a guest card with which you can use public transport, among other things.

A very nice guesthouse. The room is nicely and comfortably furnished. The bathroom is big enough with a very nice shower. Breakfast is delicious and also varied.The location is also very good. You go out and you're already in the old town. Still very quiet. Beds are also very comfortable.

We stayed in the guesthouse for 3 days. Some hotels could learn a lesson from this guesthouse. Because it was very tastefully decorated, our room was super clean, and the beds were really comfortable. The breakfast was above average for a guesthouse, of course everyone would like to have more choice or something else. But I was amazed at how nicely everything was prepared and how much was offered from the region.I also found the location in the middle of the old town really great, there are so many nice restaurants right on the doorstep and the market square was just a stone's throw away.The parking garage was funny too...I've never seen anything like it before.We will definitely book there again. Price performance was top👍

A guesthouse in the city center, everything within walking distance. The car remained safely in the reserved underground car park (€10 per day). The room was quiet, a bit small but it was ok for the two of us. The shower is in the room, the toilet has no window or ventilation. Storage space for things is limited, a dresser with drawers and two hangers behind a mirror. The room was quiet. In the entrance area there is a refrigerator for serving drinks. Billing took place at check-out. We had breakfast at the assigned table, everything we needed was there. Even special requests (scrambled eggs) are no problem. The ladies in the kitchen and at the reception were very nice. Our conclusion: you can be a guest with peace of mind!
