Hotel Hubertus

We visited the hotel just at its end. The interior of the hotel is nicely furnished, there would be a lot, but there was no cooking anymore. We were the last guests. Damage.

Expectation does not mach the reality at all. This one star is for nice staff, but that's it.

An excellently run hotel in the center of a small town, essentially without competition. Part of the room equipment reflects the taste of the early nineties (wonderful paintings, probably from the nearby market), but otherwise the equipment is almost like new (except for the bathroom facilities). A hunting-style restaurant, but did not offer venison. They have a very good chef and an absolutely above-standard wide selection of soft drinks. Breakfast corresponding to a three-star standard, only the coffee could be significantly improved.

I have to write my review again after 4 years since the owner's husband forced me to delete it after psychological pressure and threats. We arrived at the hotel with an ex-boyfriend. When we arrived at the reception, there was the owner, who then introduced herself as a receptionist, waitress, cook and cleaner in one person, which wouldn't matter so much, but when she runs to make you breakfast in the morning with her hands in a bucket, that already says something. Well, at the reception, we bought an "excursion package" per person for 200,- in addition to the accommodation, so that we would not have to buy food anywhere on the walk through the surrounding nature. When we applied for it the next morning, we received two breads with some pâté and a salad that had already experienced something, to which there was a drink from Makro and a fit cookie also from Makro. The total value of the package is approx. 20.-. When we got to the room, I was horrified. The interior is about a quarter of the price and the bathroom has dirt and hair in the bathtub. We had to go across the street to Jednota pro Savo because otherwise I wouldn't put my foot in that bathtub. When we went to dinner (my friend was a chef in a top restaurant), we got a piece of dry meat with a few potatoes and, as a "dessert", a scoop of mashed potatoes. The next morning we had a "covered plate" breakfast with pastries. On the plate there was ham, edam and I think two pieces of paprika for each person. Hearty breakfast. We had a stay paid for the weekend, but we left after one night. It couldn't be done. I am not and never have been a princess. I love sleeping under a tent, and I think that if we had chosen a tent rather than Hubertus at that time, we would have saved a lot of money and the unnecessary stress that followed. From there we went to Lipno and after staying at the camp, we sat down on our mobile phones and wrote a review that was quite similar to this one. For some time nothing happened, but after about 3 months an unknown number called me. He was the husband of the owner, who apparently collapsed after my review. She was disowned by the guest bus and has a bad name because of me. We were threatened with lawsuits, criminal penalties and blackmail. I deleted my review with fear. Now I'm a bit older and I know that since this is a public platform I have the right to any review and that's why I decided to write it again and warn you all about this device and the people who own it.

Mrs. Pitner collects requests, all the while acting as if everything is confirmed, and then cancels the requests. In our case, for 19 people for 4 nights.Ms. Pitner imposes conditions that she does not state in the price list (e.g. minimum length of stay 4 days). Be really alert so that your stay is not cancelled.

Pleasant accommodation, wonderful receptionist, excellent breakfast. I had the feeling that the staff does everything to make the customer happy.

Full of wasps. Service is slow, food not much
