We were there for the second time. The reception was not as if we were guests, but as if we were friends. We also got a very good tip for dinner. Thank you for that. And also something you should try for breakfast. (Tost in the DVB toaster with butter and sugar) super delicious.Thank you for allowing us to spend a wonderful time with you.We wish you all the best for the future. We have been going to Cuxhaven regularly for about 10 years.There is a reason for this: the Ujvari family made us feel like their family the first time aroundand makes her house available along with wonderful service. It starts with very comfortably furnished rooms, which are small but super clean. A hearty breakfast leaves nothing to be desired. Our recommendations from the guesthouse were welcomed and we also regularly received positive feedback.We would love to come back and are already looking forward to it.Thank you again for your loving care and all the best until then!

I have been coming to the Meereswoge every year since 2020 and would come again and recommend it to friends. It's like coming home❤️! Katrin & family are super friendly and very entertaining. The room and bathroom are completely sufficient 👍the breakfast is always delicious and requests are also taken into account!We will be back!Greetings Sarah 😊

I booked a double room there for friends...What I saw and heard...catastrophic...Conclusion: The room was more than small and cramped... as was the bathroom... the bed was too short... the TV was tiny... you couldn't leave the window open because there was a smoking area and garbage cans underneath... .the door was completely leaky, so that you were blinded by the hallway light at night... but when I arrived my friends weren't greeted, they were just shown the room, that was it... they were also more than unfriendly when they left... but it was said a quick goodbye...I would never book there again for my friends...What I heard about the behavior at breakfast wasn't exactly nice either...

Stayed here spontaneously for one night. We had a room in the annex. Not the largest but very clean and comfortably furnished (for our taste the mattresses could have been a little harder). We felt very comfortable here and can easily imagine coming back again. Very nice operators and a great breakfast, which was very lovingly prepared as a buffet. The quality of the food was very good and very varied. Parking spaces in the yard for a fair 1.50 euros. The location is super central in Duhnen... you can do everything on foot. 👍

The guesthouse is well maintained with very nice hosts. The breakfast is very rich and leaves nothing to be desired. Room and bathroom very small. Wasn't really right for us. But that's very subjective and shouldn't stop anyone from coming there.

There were new owners when we got there. They were very friendly and we felt really comfortable in this family atmosphere. The guesthouse is clean and feels homely. And 😊 the owner is a BVB fan.

A family-run guesthouse of older construction. Our room was small, the bathroom was very narrow, but only sufficient for overnight stays. But there are probably also larger rooms.We were received extremely friendly. The fact that you can use the drinks refrigerator on a basis of trust clearly speaks for the operating family. The breakfast was very good for an unbeatable price of €6 per person. The parking space only cost €1.50 per day.Conclusion: Definitely suitable for a short visit to Duhnen. The friendliness, the central location and the breakfast made up for the small room.
