The hotel is located directly on the beach - sea views are possible in many rooms. We also decided on one and booked an apartment as a family.The room was very spacious, clean and comfortably designed.The service was also great and friendly. The breakfast buffet offered an extensive selection. Vegetarian spreads (vegetables) would be the only thing I looked for in vain. There was a good selection of cheese.

Beautiful hotel with first class serviceWe had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. From check-in to check-out we felt completely comfortable.The rooms were modern, very clean and tastefully decorated. We were particularly impressed by the comfortable bed and the well-thought-out room facilities (such as the spacious desk and the balcony with a great view). The balcony had amazing views and was perfect for relaxing.The bathroom was also a highlight - clean, modern and equipped with a large, walk-in shower.Overall, our stay at this hotel was excellent and we would highly recommend it to everyone. The price-performance ratio is great and we will definitely come back!

We had a few lovely days there in mid-September. Premium room with sea view. The breakfast was very good. The hotel is very quiet. Swimming pool and sauna great.

You don't even know where to start. The hotel is a 2 minute walk from the beach. The view from our room was very nice with a view of the lake. We had a very nice furnished room. The rooms are clean down to the last crack. The hotel has a pool and sauna area with a relaxation area, both of which are very well maintained. The breakfast is very good.The entire staff is very nice. We had a very nice stay and would love to come back. Thank you for the lovely time with you.

We stayed in this beautiful house for a long weekend and were very satisfied: great service, everything was clean and tidy, nice rooms with a high level of sleeping comfort, very tasty and high-quality breakfast. There are plenty of parking spaces and bicycles/e-bikes can be stored in the lockable bicycle room (with charging facility). Just a few meters to the beach. A definitely great little hotel that we will definitely go to again.

A super nice and very charming hotel. The outdoor area with the beach chairs is also very inviting. The promenade is okay, the beach is very nice, unfortunately the view of the high-rise building is not very nice.

Directly at the campsite, that is well known and the view of the parking lot is okay, we write. The rooms with sea views score points here.Swimming pool and sauna in the house. Since we only used the swimming pool. Large, bright, well equipped.We would come back and recommend a stay.We would particularly like to mention the always friendly service at reception, in the service in the house and at all times. Impressive!!!

The Hotel Strandhus is a very nice hotel in Sahlenburg (Cuxhaven) close to the beach. Shops and restaurants are within easy walking distance. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was rich and good. The room was tastefully decorated and had a very large terrace. Everything was very clean. We had a wonderful stay, felt very comfortable and would love to come back!

We had a premium room without a sea view and were very satisfied! Contrary to expectations, the relatively large terrace meant we had a sea view and was equipped with comfortable chairs. The room was nice and large and comfortably furnished with a comfortable bed, sofa, small refrigerator, table, large closet and a very nice and modern bathroom! Overall we were super satisfied. Everything was very clean and the room service sorted out small things with attention to detail.The breakfast buffet was beautifully presented and included a wide selection of all kinds of things, including many fish specialties. Individual products were varied daily, so there was something new to try every day. Even outside breakfast times there was access to the coffee machine and various chilled drinks (for a fee).The walk to the beach was short and the connection to the city was great! We couldn't have imagined a nicer hotel for our vacation and would love to come back.
