very bad experience! we stayed 5 nights and the cleanliness of the room was very bad. they never changed our sheets, for 2 days they hadn't even picked up the trash and the bathroom had mold on the walls and in the shower. The room service was also a little bit rude

Great accommodation, traditional house with a modern update, offering spacious and bright rooms (we were in the Family suite). Great location in a quiet area, 5 min walk to the center. Guests parking on site. The owner is kind and helpful and we had a very pleasant stay.

I've never written a negative review as I prefer to discuss problems directly w hotel personnel. However, consider this a warning should you find yourself w difficulty making a reservation. Be aware, there are glitches in the reservation system. We experienced issues w the Mammhofer reservation system. Tried to make contact via various email methods and finally made a direct personal phone call from the US to the manager to clarify and resolve these issues. Then, after alerting the manager that we'd completed and submitted acceptance of our updated offer we were accused of being a "hoax". Our reservations were cancelled. Which is likely a good thing.

We stayed at the Mammhofer for one night. Very traditional house with really beautiful rooms. The breakfast buffet was also sufficient and very tasty. Various egg specialties are also offered and freshly prepared. All in all a very nice stay. I would stay here longer ;)

The hotel is very close to the center of the town, which is quite small. At this time (January) it is quite uncrowded.We occupied a double room with a balcony. It was large, clean and very comfortable.The included breakfast was a reasonably well-stocked buffet that included freshly fried eggs, which was appreciated.

That was once again an absolute stroke of luck!Not only that I was in beautiful, snowy Oberammergau, but also in a first-class hotel in the center of the city.The rooms were contemporary, typically Bavarian modern, very comfortably furnished and nothing was missing.The bathroom was up to date and didn't miss anything.The next morning we had an excellent breakfast, which was accompanied by a fully automatic coffee machine that was not lacking in anything.The very courteous, friendly lady then offered me an egg of my choice, what more could you want...All in all, a highly recommended overnight accommodation that is of a very high standard. Also worth mentioning is the friendliness, coupled with a very good level of service orientation, which is already perfectly exemplified by the hotelier, Mr. Josef Zwink.Thank you very much, I would love to come back.

A super nice guesthouse in the middle of Oberammergau. The breakfast was very good and chatting with the host made it even more comfortable. In addition, arriving late in the evening was no problem at all. An absolute recommendation!

Lovely small hotel in Oberammergau with a parking lot for about 6-7 cars behind the building down a tiny side street. Check in was fast, friendly & easy. Room was spacious with minibar & wardrobe in-room. Mountain view. Very comfortable bed & pillows. Very quiet town at night, peaceful. Perfect location in central area within easy walking distance of the entire town. Hot water in the shower. Clean room. Excellent breakfast. The König Pass for the area's attractions/ discounts was provided free of charge with the stay.

Caution, if your room faces the Daisenbergerstrasse side of the hotel, be prepared to hear everything. They said the windows were soundproof, but even closed you can still hear so much. The temp's were higher than usual so the room was stuffy, however upon opening up the windows, you hear all the noises and it was not very relaxing. Breakfast was nice and the espresso machine is available all times of the day.
