We had a week's vacation in the beautiful Spreewald. The area there is a dream and there is the option of booking a boat trip at the accommodation (more expensive than in neighboring towns).The accommodation is somewhat quiet and hidden for people who like peace and quiet. We liked that.We had a double room in which you could no longer move freely with a baby cot because it was so narrow. The room was unreasonably expensive for the old-fashioned, poorly decorated style. It was very dark and the floor was sticky. The baby bed cost an extra charge (I've never experienced that before and we travel a lot), and you could have bought a travel cot yourself with that price.Before that we had accommodation in the Spreewald for 1/3 of the price, which was much nicer and more lovingly furnished. So: keep your eyes open when choosing accommodation, the pictures promise more than is offered.We will book another accommodation when we visit the Spreewald in the future.

Very nice inn, right on the river, on the bike path and also accessible by car.Service staff is functionally friendly, but a certain warmth is missing.The prices for food and drinks are very high. The food was well prepared, but for the price range it should have been presented better.I won't come back again.There are many other houses where you feel welcome as a guest.

Great location with a mill that probably isn't one.Nice staff, trying hard but a lot of room for improvement.The prices in the restaurant are steep for food and drinks.Portions tasty, but carelessly presented and far too small for the price.That was the first and last visit.

We have been taking short weekend breaks here for many years. Even in times of crisis such as Corona or a shortage of workers, we have always been warmly welcomed here, looked after and pampered.This hotel is uniquely located, great for relaxing. Boat and bicycle rentals are included. Unfortunately, the restaurant is only open during the week at the moment, but with the usual outstanding quality!In short: arrive, switch off, enjoy.

This is our first time in the Spreewald and our last time. The accommodation in Dubkow-Mühle was severely overpriced. First we got a dark room for €120 without breakfast, after we asked to get another room, we also got one with an extra charge. The room had an unpleasant smell. After the condition in the kitchen, we decided not to eat in the mill. In the city of Lübbenau, the prices for food are also quite overpriced. In the Spreewald you have to remember that they have not yet arrived in the 21st century and “cash is real”. A lot is still paid in cash. The Spree boat trip was very beautiful and the sun smiled on us. That's something.

Reason for stay: lunch, weekend.Number of people: 2Service: very fast, attentiveFood: average, quantity not excessive, not very seasoned, 2 schnitzels instead of a large one, fried potatoes not crispy, fish little and not very seasoned, asparagus - 5 sticks. Salad or similar as a side dish not available.Price: disproportionately high. “Regional, organic, etc.” doesn’t help either. Anyone who charges 80 euros for 2 people (one meal and one drink each) has to put up with this criticism of the quality/presentation of the food. Even for 17 euros, quark and potatoes are no longer poor people's food. A good 30% above all other restaurants in the area. It's a shame, otherwise it's pretty good. But anyone who offers traditional food should not charge princely prices. Both of them eat a total of 70 euros in the pictures!

I only rate the restaurant. We have been there again and again for years and have always been satisfied.That has changed. The food went from good to satisfying. The prices range from normal to overpriced. We will avoid the inn in the future and look for alternatives. Too bad.

It's actually a nice stopover on the way from Leipe to Burg. It certainly was in 2022 too.Now - August 2024 - we docked the boat and just wanted to have a little something to eat. Everything in a plastic cup/plastic bowl. Despite a detailed announcement, the sour shandy without soda (with sparkling water) was not arranged and was not taken back.Prices were roughly the same as in the port of Leipe. Only there you can get everything served properly and the quality is better.

We were there on Saturday... prices were not posted. The 'cashier' was very rude. Had 2x cucumber soda, 2 x potato salad from a wholesale market bucket, 1x salmon torch, 1x steak. 28.50 euros. Neat... I wouldn't describe the salmon torch as such - dry and without taste. The steak was probably grilled twice - hard, dry and the edges were so burnt that you didn't want to eat them anymore... underground there. Never again and not recommended.The location is quite nice, but that doesn't make up for the rest.
