We can't say anything about the rooms as we were only there to eat. Everything tasted very good and it was quick, the staff is friendly, the beer garden right on the water is just great.Particularly worth mentioning: in contrast to many other restaurants, shops, guesthouses, etc., you can even prefer to pay by card here.

Ordered Plinse (with applesauce, cinnamon, sugar, without having it specifically named, but it was shown that way on the menu and, according to the taste, is part of it). Delivered without applesauce, asked, was approached: "I won't open a jar of applesauce because of the wasps!" It was noted on the order window that this behavior was unpleasant. Adds an employee: "It's our business, what we put out is our restaurant!" Gently noted that this appearance does not fit. One (slightly red-haired) lady was the only one who tried to behave in a respectable manner, all the other staff encountered just looked up at each other and reacted completely inappropriately.Addition to the operator's answer:Applesauce wasn't specifically ordered, but it was pictured and was part of it. It wasn't excluded either, otherwise we wouldn't have ordered the completely overpriced plinse. It's hard to believe that the plinse with applesauce would be even more expensive! Strangely, apple strudel with whipped cream was offered. I asked a man at the food counter about the missing apple sauce, he just grumbled briefly, left me standing, then I went to the checkout. All the staff there talked to me in exactly this arrogant way. Critical ability, customer orientation, decency... it's different!

During our visit to the Spreewald we stopped here several times for a cup of coffee or a beer. It's great to sit by the water and unwind.

Very nice staff and great location. Room was also sufficient with everything you need. Sausage and cheese platter for breakfast for 2 people was very spartan. Dinner always the same and not a lot of choice. Maybe also think about pasta or snack plates for children. The kitchen closed at 7 p.m. and there was nothing to drink after 8 p.m. Prices for food and drinks are very expensive.

A nice outdoor area. No vegan lunch offer. Unfortunately we had a rather unpleasant experience with the staff. The three people I was there with each got food and drink, I just got vegan soda. To be on the safe side, I took something vegan with me and ate it there. After a short while, a woman came up to us and pointed out that the food we had brought with us was not allowed and that I should pack it away. We explained our situation to her, but our reasons were not acknowledged. Her suggestion was that I please sit down somewhere outside the restaurant and eat there. I can understand the annoyance of people who only eat their own food there, despite the signs, and I don't want to complain that there was no vegan food. However, I would have liked more differentiation for our situation and a friendlier atmosphere for discussion.

Beautiful place to relax during (or after) a bike ride/paddle ride.By chance we rode past it on our bikes and were surprised that such a beautiful beer garden awaited us.The food and self-service service was also very great!So from us - clear recommendation!

Very unfriendly staff!My friends and I took a break there by canoe. 3 people made the order and ate there, 4th brought a banana.A few minutes later a woman came and stood silently next to us. Then she asked if anyone spoke German, which was understandable since we are not native speakers. But afterwards she said "Can't you read?! You're not allowed to bring your own food here (!banana!)".Afterwards she recommended that we leave the restaurantSorry, what? This is how you talk to customers?If the entire table orders large dishes at a fairly high price, one could be more polite.Positive: the place is pretty nice, you can also pay by card.

We stopped here on a bike tour at the weekend. The ambience and location is great and it is also located on the water - many boaters also get stranded here.The garden was well filled and we barely found space for 6 of us, big and small.There is a self-service restaurant here that seems well organized. You order, pay and take the drinks with you straight away.There's a radio buzzer for food, which then rings. Over a bratwurst with potato salad, he didn't do that until more than half an hour later. This was clearly outside the tolerance limit.We give it 3 out of 5 stars for the dish selection.However, there are also local dishes and a cucumber seems to be everywhere - nice! Also fish dishes. Unfortunately, we missed "Fettbemmen", for example. Or children's portions of the pasta.The fact that drinks in a self-service restaurant are still charged at the inner-city prices of a big city left us perplexed and annoyed - that doesn't have to be the case at all and we found it fairer elsewhere in the area.Some of the food prices also amazed us because of the expense of the dish; So profit maximization seems to be important.The location is of course beautiful and is good for the beer garden.We rate it with 3 stars.
