Very nicely located in the middle of the forest. However, zero service. You have to bring your luggage into the house about 300 m over bridges with steep stairs over the forest floor. A torture for older people. However, you will then be rewarded with a beautiful room with a separate living room. There is a mosquito repellent that you can install yourself. Breakfast OK.

If you want to live in typical Spreewald style, this is the right place for you. The house is probably still original from before, so it's a bit noisy, but I've experienced worse in modern hotels. It's not for people with walking difficulties as you have to walk over a bridge (picture) to get into the room. The room has WiFi, which is quite rare in the Spreewald, and cell phone reception is generally rather poor. Breakfast is sufficient and varied. Service is also nice and gives tips if you want to know something. Canoes are also available for direct rental. If you want to eat dinner, you have to go to Lübbenau or reserve a table in the restaurant in the village

When we go on a boat trip, we always use the break here to either eat a little something or just enjoy an Aperol in the sunshine on the pier terrace.

Anyone who expects a four star standard here is wrong. A simply furnished room and a decent bathroom with a quite satisfactory breakfast, in a special place with a peace and quiet that is second to none once the tourists have left.

Everything was tip top so far. The only major drawback for us is that the rooms are extremely noisy and you can understand almost every word the neighbor says. Some people can't hold back on their voices and discussions, even on vacation.

First of all, big compliments to the Spreewald region…great area for cycling and hiking…Gladly again but not in the wedding house…Everything needs a complete renovation...It's just a shame that people don't invest in such a great location...The house was poorly cleaned...we first took spiders outside and disposed of their cobwebs...The bathroom is really getting old, only the mold feels comfortable there…All the clothes and also the suitcases had to be washed or cleaned because there was a really bad smell in the wedding house that stayed with us for a few days.The breakfast was so-so...cheap baked rolls that only saw the oven briefly...The staff was nice…
