We have been coming here to vacation for 20 years.It is already our second home. Whether Schinderhannes, Julchen, Lauretta or Graf Heinrich, each of the four holiday accommodations has its own special features.Milking, driving cows, riding, feeding everything is possible.Hiking or other excursions, even after 20 years we still find things we haven't seen.Anyone who wants to help on the farm and who doesn't want to have anything to do with the farm can simply enjoy the spacious meadow.Grill hut, campfire place, celebration hutTrampoline, table tennis, table football, pedal tractor, bobby car, sandpit, swing for children - everything you need is also available.

We had a very nice week's holiday at the Steinäckerhof, it was great to be able to be so close to farm life.Farmer Klaus took our children around the farm very lovingly and patiently and answered all their questions.The farm is in a great location and the apartment is very well equipped.Pony rides, a playground and cuddly cats on the farm rounded everything off.

Great, I like it very much. Except for the weather. But the farmer can't do anything about that. If someone hasn't eaten their plate empty😅😅The apartment is big. Enough space to spread out

This is our second time at the Leroch family farm. The farm has everything we wanted. Our daughters were overjoyed to be able to be so close to the animals. Trampoline and bobby cars rounded off the offer and we were able to enjoy nature and the peace and quiet. The apartment was clean, lovingly furnished and had everything you needed. Mr. Leroch was very accommodating. His calm and friendly manner further contributed to his well-being. It's nice that you can also buy our own eggs, milk, jam and honey here. We will definitely come back again and again!

It was our first time on a farm.We were there for 2 nights.Haus Julchen was cozy and clean.The house has everything you need.We received a very friendly welcome from Klaus and his wife.In the evenings we drove the cows from the pasture behind the holiday homes towards the stable because Klaus milked them every evening.We were even allowed to milk by hand and watch Klaus milking.On the last evening the kids were allowed to close the chicken flap.Klaus took his time and explained a lot to us.There were still calves that were brought milk by the kids in the evening.There were also 2 little cute pigs and the calves the cow, Fau Kuschel, who is totally cuddly.There is a beautiful meadow near the holiday homes with a trampoline and slide, and there are bobby cars in the yard.We looked at the Roman grave nearby and spent the time on the farm.There are delicious fresh eggs, jam, honey and fresh milk in the morning (which we forgot to get) for a fee.All in all very relaxing and quiet.We'll be back 🐓🐖🐂🐮

Rustic, very quiet farm with cows, sheep, donkeys, horses, cats and a small pig.There are two well-equipped holiday homes and one holiday apartment available for guests.Perfect for children aged 3 to 8, they will find a paradise here to play and discover.There is no suggested program or other "entertainment" offered here, but the little ones can help out on the farm at any time - or use their imagination and come up with their own games and adventures on the extensive grounds.In the morning you can get fresh milk directly from the cow for €1 per liter.Beautiful excursion destinations in the area (the historic town center of Herrstein, Fischbach copper mine, gemstone worlds,...).There is a small village shop in town, the Globus in Idar-Oberstein is about 8 km away.

It's just awesome, hands-on farm, milking cows, feeding them, driving tractors, horseback riding and much more! Run by wonderful people with a lot of patience and time for explanations. I've never experienced anything so beautiful. Thank you all. We'll be back!

Wonderfully quiet location. We have NEVER had a holiday home as clean and fully equipped as Schinderhannes. Great wooden house with everything you need - it couldn't be better equipped. Unfortunately we were only there for 2 nights, but there was no boredom either on the farm or in the beautiful Herrstein. We were lucky enough to experience the medieval festival in Herrstein. The location of the farm, away from traffic and city life, also makes long walks a pleasure. Last but not least, the friendly people on the farm should also be mentioned. Overall, rating: highly recommended!

A very nice farm for young and old. The boss and his employees are very friendly and answer every question and the children are allowed to help with everything on the farm. We will definitely be back,🐄🐖🐎

very nice farm with nice farmers. Children can help with (almost) everything and get to know everyday life on the farm. Riding horses, ponies and donkeys is fun for everyone! We even saw a calf being born
