OK place for a one night stay, but kitchen utilities are very basic. Also we messaged the owner two times but got no reply. Garbage was not picked up so we had to figure out ourselves where to dispose it. Also there were no tea towels nor dish washing tablets. Also the front door is shared so often used by other guests. So expect there to be others above and below you. Nearby you can find a flower pick your own garden, playgrounds and beautiful walking trails. Definitely try the ice cream in Seeshaupt across the Edeka and if you’re lucky in July and August there’s a jazz festival there. This place is located in a beautiful green area and that is fantastic. Expect to spot deer, sheep and more early in the morning when walking.

We went to the restaurant for dinner at the fair. When making the reservation we asked whether we wanted goose or duck. The food was also very good, with a bowl of red cabbage being brought to us for three people. We can still get some if that's not enough for us. It has to be said that in other restaurants the portion is for one person, not for three. We then ordered more and the old waiter said he would bring us another spoonful. It wasn't more than a spoonful and you felt pretty ripped off. The hammer then came with the bill. A quarter goose 45 euros. A quarter duck 31 euros. Even if it was good, the price/performance ratio is not right here at all. Yes, we should have asked beforehand, but who thinks such a thing? The next fair will definitely not be in Hohenberg!!

Closed company, completely fine, and the fact that drinks are still offered at the same time for a fee is very good. But if you're not even allowed to go to the toilet for a moment, that doesn't show good service. Then it's better to have a completely closed society and communicate that way. We won't come anymore.
