We were guests at the Pension Hierzer for 2 nights. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The breakfast was outstanding - everything your heart could desire was there. Sausage, cheese, homemade cream cheese and homemade jams, herbs and vegetables from our own garden.The two pension owners are super warm people and we felt very comfortable. We'd love to come back :)

Absolutely!! Beautiful guesthouse also because of the two people, a couple with their hearts ❤️ in the right place. Beautiful garden with herbs and vegetables from which delicacies are conjured up. Great ambience, you are embedded in wood and minerals and feel the attention to detail. Breakfast, visually something you want to try immediately and everything, prepared with your own delicacies from the garden: quark, jam, honey from the local beekeeper and an attentive pension manager. Coffee is refilled immediately and whether everything is right for you is important to both of them. So for us an unforgettable stay.

Fine guesthouse, very lovingly furnished. The breakfast was lavish, the jam was homemade. An ideal place to stay overnight for our hike in the Hunsrück National Park.

I'm sorry but I can't rate this guesthouse very well... Room is a good size, unfortunately room faces the main road which is busy even though there isn't much in this place... Bathroom very small and not as clean as you would like, old dirty toilet brush,... doesn't it cost much to replace it?? ? What really bothered me was lukewarm water, it's unpleasant when washing your hair, but not only that... you can have this right to warm water. I also mentioned it, they said it can't be done, you have to let it run and the man will take care of it... I let it run for 20 minutes the next day (shame about the water and the money) it was lukewarm. We were the only guests...I think they wanted to save money here. The help with finding a restaurant wasn't great either, the Italian doesn't answer, he's on vacation (that wasn't true at all) where is the nearest supermarket... before we were told that, the big worry was not to eat anything in the room, no, I would don't book it againMy conclusion…. Yes 👍 but so far away from Highlight

Overall I felt comfortable. It is a family-run guesthouse and, to be fair, I still recommend it. Peaceful area. The prices online are not current (as of August 2022). However, my opinion about the hygiene, which affected the bathroom and in places the room inhabited, is rather cautious: the shower was not cleaned properly, the bed frame had a dried stain (blood?), there was dust on the bedside table. In addition, the water was lukewarm at first, then. cold because the water heater was not set correctly. In my opinion, these are all points that can be quickly remedied. That's why I can still recommend the guesthouse.
