We booked 3 nights. I celebrated my 50th birthday in this hotel... as a couple... to recharge my batteries. The price-performance ratio is right. The stay was just lovely 🤩… romantic. Splendid!!! The breakfast buffet cannot be topped… regional products… heavenly. Wellness/spa area was very nice, we used it every day. My full body massage was so individual, every move was perfect. I would have liked to have had a massage from this lady for 2 hours. The food in the restaurant was delicious. There is a point deduction… for appointments in the spa area. Unfortunately, it still worked the way I wanted it to, even though everything had been clarified in advance. So I couldn't book a second treatment because everything on site was too short notice and the dates that were suggested to me unfortunately didn't fit. I found it a shame, especially after the wonderful massage. P.S. the forests in the area are like something out of a fairy tale!!!

We were able to have a perfect girls' weekend. Super friendly, extremely hard working, great service, very nice and funny schnapps tasting. Very comfortable hotel bed (even if that's always subjective) and the most awesome pillow in a hotel ever! Thank you for an unforgettable weekend 🫶

We booked a chalet with half board for two adults and two children for three nights. On site we discovered that the children were excluded from the three-course menu because, according to the Ka reception, 'children wouldn't eat something like that'. Instead, the children were given a separate children's menu and supposedly full board - including lunch on the day of arrival and departure. However, this promise was not kept because we had to pay extra for lunch on the day of arrival and it was not offered at all on the day of departure. The offer for children was very limited: the meals always consisted of the same four main courses (hamburgers, fish fingers or nuggets with fries) and a few starters and ice cream for dessert, which were charged separately. Overall, we found the menu to be unbalanced and unhealthy. We received no instructions upon arrival and the promised wellness bags were initially missing. The children's bathrobes were only provided after two days and after repeated requests. The organization of the hotel seemed chaotic, and the support from Ms. Karin at the reception was often unhelpful. One incident illustrated this when my son ran away and Karin, despite having a clear view, claimed not to have seen him. The spa area with pool is easily accessible to children, which poses a safety risk as there is no supervision or cameras. The wellness area is clean, but without special equipment and snacks, which would be appropriate given the high prices (€500 per night). Childcare is friendly but outdated and without adequate security measures - children can easily spill out onto the street as there is no fence or security bars.Although the hotel is nicely designed, it offers less comfort and hospitality compared to other hotels in this price range. The food was OK, but not outstanding.I would like to write more and go into more detail, but the framework here on Google doesn't offer that.It may be suitable for guests with lower demands, but overall the price-performance ratio wasn't right for us.

Hotel with a lot of potential in a quiet location and surrounded by beautiful nature. The food is tasty, but in our opinion overpriced. Unfortunately, the maintenance of the hotel leaves a lot to be desired. What marred our stay the most was the poor service at the reception. When we arrived, we were surprised to find that there was sand in our bed - apparently the bed linen had not been changed. We asked the receptionist for fresh bed linen as well as a kettle and tea as these were missing in the room.Although the bed linen was changed, we received no apology or compensation for the incident throughout our stay. The kettle wasn't brought either; We were simply told that we would have to pay for the tea bags if we wanted them.In summary: the service at the reception was unfortunately unpleasant and the bed linen was dirty. The price-performance ratio was disappointing for the quality offered.

The stay was great except for a few situations. Due to the large number of children, it is not possible to visit the swimming pool after visiting the sauna. We personally booked the hotel as a spa/rest/couples vacation and greatly underestimated what family-friendly could possibly mean.

As always, everything was great. Bombastic breakfast for young and old. The spa area - relaxing and well maintained as always (a big thank you again to the staff who lit the fireplace by the pool in the morning, because that made the feeling of well-being and relaxation there 😍 perfect). The cocktails at the bar are also just perfect - thanks to the bartender 🙏. Our son misses Florida. The dinner was great - thanks to the chef. We already miss Marienhöh Monastery and are really looking forward to our next visit. We have also taken the Hochwald to our hearts and look forward to many more walks there.

We spent a long weekend at Marienhöh. Everything was to our satisfaction and we felt completely comfortable. We really liked the two-level suite, the bed is super comfortable and the view is fantastic. The rich and delicious breakfast buffet, the excellent dinner, the beautiful spa area and the always friendly staff made the stay a pleasure.
