Wonderful location, in the middle of the national park. I was standing on the balcony in the evening, enjoying the good air, when a deer passed less than 10 meters from the house. Indescribable!

A clean holiday apartment with a view of the Ilsestein. Ideal as a starting point for hiking. The "small" terrace invites you to linger. You are undisturbed because there is no cell phone reception. Everything you need is there. Gladly again.

We rented one of the semi-detached houses that are next to the Nexö holiday home and belong to the same landlord. The complex is beautifully located at the foot of the mountains, in front of the house the hiking trail goes straight up to the Brocken, from the terrace you have a view of the Ilsestein and behind the house the Ilse babbles happily along.Our house was perfectly equipped with plenty of dishes, a washing machine and lots of nice little details. Since we were there in April, where the wonderfully fresh Harz air can still be quite cool, we particularly enjoyed the fire in the fireplace after a long hike.I have rarely felt so comfortable in a holiday apartment and can only warmly recommend this one.

Right in the middle instead of just there! We had a small 2 room apartment, everything was clean, everything was there! A slight renovation backlog here and there but nothing crazy! The absolute pro is that the Brocken can be reached on foot in 3 hours! Restaurants and groceries are all within walking distance! Top!!

Really really nice. The apartment has everything you need. The huge balcony invites you to relax. The location is great, right on various hiking trails. In Ilsenburg there are many supermarkets, great bakeries and butchers.It was a lovely five days

We've been there a few times and always the same apartment on the sunny side facing the street. The apartment is great, everything is there, mattresses are good. Unfortunately the bathroom is a bit tight. The Riese family and the “managers” are very nice and problems are solved quickly. We'll definitely go there again. Location: great! You are already in the Harz National Park. Hiking opportunities on 3 sides. Only 4 stars because of the bathroom. Ideal for dog owners. Each apartment has either a large balcony or a fenced terrace. Addendum: we are probably regular guests now 😊 we feel very comfortable here.

We stayed here for a weekend in the fall. The provider also includes other houses further in the direction of Ilsenburg. We had one of them near the forester's lodge.The facilities were good and the location was perfect. Unfortunately, it was very cold in the house when we arrived and turning up the heating didn't bring much improvement. Saving energy or not, but I don't want to freeze on vacation. Unfortunately that left a bad aftertaste... What a shame

The location was simply a dream, the furnishings of the apartment were simple and clean as expected. Since it was set back a bit, we were able to sit relaxed on the balcony even when there were a lot of hikers. Our dog also felt very comfortable. We'll definitely come back.

Located directly on the Ilse, you won't hear any of the wild water in the very nice apartment thanks to good insulation.The house is well restored and is in a beautiful setting

Very nicely located in the Ilsetal and the equipment and cleanliness of the apartment were good. However, the apartment looks different than in the pictures on the homepage. Instead of a nice kitchen-living room, my apartment had a small kitchenette in the hallway and the refrigerator was hidden separately in a mini room (broom bunting). The garbage cans in front of the house haven't been emptied for over a week and are overflowing.

Unfortunately, despite the nighttime temperatures, there was no heating on in week 37/2021. Otherwise it was in a very nice location.

A wonderfully located holiday home and a well-kept, clean holiday apartment, this landscape and the peace, we had a very nice and relaxing holiday in the Nexö holiday home which we will definitely repeat soon. Unfortunately, the personal service suffered due to the pandemic, but there was nothing to complain about.
