Booked via Check24. Arrived with the most necessary information. There is a note on site that the key must be picked up at the “Strandcafe und Hotel am Holzhafen” by 6 p.m. on the day of departure. So far, so good... We then moved into our room, which was on the upper floor. Far too small, far too warm... No coffee machine. So I asked for another room, which was then assigned to me on the ground floor as a gesture of goodwill. No coffee maker again. It was then taken care of as quickly as possible. My wife and I stayed for 9 nights and stocked up on food accordingly. Today, the day before departure, we discovered that the lid for the freezer compartment on the refrigerator in the apartment was missing. The refrigerator in question was under water, including our food, because a thawing process had begun in the completely icy refrigerator compartment, which we had not noticed because we had been traveling a lot and for a long time over the last 3 days. In my opinion, the situation described is not acceptable for €89 per day.

The room does not look like the photos. The furniture is worn out, the tiles in the bathroom are full of water stains and the kitchen equipment is pretty poor, everything thrown together. We won't be coming back

We were there for 3 nights. It is an old, converted farmhouse. Very quiet, rural location.Used a lot by mechanics. We went there to bike and found the location perfect. 5 minute drive to the center. We had apartment 3, which is very spacious with a large bathroom. Everything you need is there. Kitchen a bit poorly equipped. Unfortunately the bed wasn't comfortable at all because the floor has a slope at that point and the bed therefore has a clearly noticeable slope. Unfavorably chosen location. My husband decided to sleep on the sofa, I somehow came to terms with the bed.

The house doesn't look very inviting from the outside, the apartment was nice and clean, but only roof windows were very loud when it rained and you couldn't open them when it rained, so it was very warm and stuffy, and full of mosquitoes, it was inhabited by many mechanics , who stood in front of the door smoking and with their upper bodies baked
