A unique experience!Through the lattice windows of the elegantly and comfortably furnished living room, I look at the huge container ship on the Elbe gliding past in the distance.We entered through a separate entrance, past “our” terrace,Our room, a suite, has been lovingly renovated in the style of bygone times and makes your heart beat faster as soon as you enter. Despite the traditional design, there is no lack of modern comfort anywhere in the entire property! The owners have thought of everything! Every detail has been taken into account. The bathroom is a sensory delight.The state-of-the-art kitchen in the holiday apartment/suite contains all the auxiliary appliances you could wish for. The walk-in dressing room offers an incredible amount of space in the modern cupboards.Everything was PERFECT, including breakfast.

I spent 4 weeks at Gut Bielenberg on business. Very spacious rooms with top facilities. Simone and Gina were absolutely helpful and tried to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The only point of criticism: arrival and the location is quite remote, otherwise great. I'd love to come back.

I was allowed to accompany a wedding at Gut Bielenberg as a wedding photographer - and it was absolutely fantastic! The opportunity to get married in a civil ceremony on site and continue the celebration straight away is fantastic. If you want, you can go to the water in just a few steps for a round of couple photos. I'm definitely looking forward to the next visit! :-)

Very nice location.Unfortunately it promises more than it delivers.The limited selection of cakes and coffee makes the "coffee and cake" offer seem like a joke.Every small country inn has a larger selection. However, this seems to be due to the customer frequency. The staff doesn't seem to be able to establish a routine, but they are friendly.Because of the advertising, we wanted to get to know it so that we could possibly organize a family coffee meeting with 20 people.This is now taking place somewhere else.However, the lag is great and the prices are also in the top league.

Very nice and tastefully furnished apartment in an absolutely quiet and idyllic location behind the dike on the Elbe. Ideal for cycling tours. The communication with Ms. Fuhrmann was great. We felt very comfortable and would be happy to come back.

#gutbieleberg the 2ndElbe sandy beach, nature, relaxation and personal care.... and of course the indispensable dyke sheep..... 😅 A feel-good environment! 👌👍For us, this clearly deserves ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐After we came across this beautiful home by chance in 2021 and more than enjoyed our stay, it was clear that we would definitely repeat it.This year our second visit to the Fuhrmann family at the Boutique Hotel #gutbielenberg.We booked one of the suites in the main building this year and really didn't regret it!A beautiful, lovingly designed and furnished suite on the upper floor of the manor house.Upon arrival, we were greeted personally by Alexander and a long and stimulating conversation ensued in the #cafegutbielenberg. We were able to have this experience of an extremely nice and personal welcome in 2021. 😉 The family welcomed us personally.Simone joined us later this year, which, as she told us, was due to the fact that she was still personally busy cleaning and preparing the apartments in the second house, the #elbeboardinghouse, further down the dike towards Hamburg.The Fuhrmann family was not spared from the consequences of the crises of recent years. As is well known, getting new and, above all, trained staff is currently almost impossible to achieve, as is the case in other industries.Together, the whole family lives hospitality wholeheartedly and is currently supporting the hotel business in addition to their actual professional obligations. Hats off!This time we were able to experience conferences and also a wonderful wedding on the #gutbielenberg. We really liked it and you can feel the warmth of the hosts in every minute.The fact that one or two little things are not 1000% perfect is more than humanly understandable, but in our personal experience it was hardly significant. After all, the people there can't do more than work!In any case, they took great care of us and our well-being, more than could be expected under the circumstances!As in general, the Fuhrmann family's rather familiar approach to their guests was and is the big plus of this hotel!In addition, there is the really fantastic location in the immediate vicinity of the Elbe dike. It is only a stone's throw away and over its edge you can even watch the really large and small "boats" that sail on the Elbe every day from the comfort of your lounger in the shade of the large, ancient trees on the beautiful property.For us, the #gutbieleberg definitely offers an annual destination for a relaxing holiday.There is of course plenty to discover in the region, which is why there are still a number of destinations left for the coming years.We can easily recommend this property at any time with a clear conscience, which is what we want to consciously express with this, certainly very personal, review!So thank you very much again for our exceptional support, especially from you, Simone. 🙏🙏🙏

Beautifully renovated old estate, great location right on the dike with a view and a small beach. Rooms with the best facilities, very clean and well maintained, great bed.Very friendly service, delicious breakfast, good coffee,everyone is very concerned about our comfort. We'd love to come back.

We were in Bielenberg for a weekend and were consistently disappointed. After impersonal processes before arrival with automated emails, the key was to find the key safe and then the room upon arrival. This is neat but not special, but it is so loud that you can understand almost every word the neighbors say. There is a sliding door between the room and the bathroom with a large gap, meaning the door doesn't really close - you have to like it. Next to the residential building, which is beautifully located, there is an absolutely ugly hall in which, as we could see, people are probably tinkering with cars. Overall, the area doesn't seem particularly well maintained. The only employee we saw was a temporary worker, there is no service of any kind. Completely disappointing given the price.

I am absolutely disappointed with the place and the way to treat a HOTEL guest.The cost contribution has already been charged to the credit card before arrival - there are basically no cancellation options. I actually know that you first receive a service and then pay...If you arrive in the dark, you take your room key out of a box and then wander around the area without directions and, if you're lucky, find your room. This is quite nice, a good bed, but not a highlight at all. There are no hooks in the bathroom and the two of you share an armchair…Breakfast is offered on the terrace, but it is unswept and just looks unkempt. The same applies to tables and benches.The breakfast itself was very expensive, but boring with cheap sausage and cheap cheese. Plus rock-hard boiled eggs rated “2”…..nothing organic or conscious….Yogurt delicious, plus extremely sugary crunchy muesli. No choice, no question as to whether you are a vegetarian or maybe even a vegan… rolls are the cheapest baked goods…Plant pots with dried-out bushes that don't fit at all stylistically on the site...I couldn't find anything loving or truly hospitable.It's all a shame, because the location and the house are very nice and you could really do something with it. There are examples of motivated, inspired and, above all, committed people. Where it's all about hospitality...I'm also happy to pay an extra euro there. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio here is not right at all.
