Historic site with a lot of atmosphere and at least as much need for restoration.Room very clean, armchair borderline,Breakfast sufficient, food delicious.A very decent performance for a one-woman business.In this condition, fine for short accommodation.

Freiburg-Elbe, nice little town with a nice RV parking space, good for cycling. Not overcrowded, therefore rather quiet and cozy and very friendly residents. They also say “mojn” in the evening🤗

Very friendly service and delicious, down-to-earth food. I have never been offered pepper soup anywhere before. It was nice and hot and spicy. The chicken liver with onions, mushrooms, fried potatoes and a dollop of applesauce was served in a rustic iron pan and tasted delicious. The prices were reasonable, almost too cheap. It wasn't the last time I was here!

A cozy, rustic guesthouse with lots of charm. The service is unbeatably friendly. The food delicious. The rooms are simple, but absolutely sufficient - the old house has something rustic about it. I received a very friendly welcome here and would love to come back again.

On Thursday, May 11, 2023, I visited the Kehdinger Hof in Freiburg (Elbe) as part of a school class reunion (all of us in our mid-70s). In the afternoon we sat in the historic guest room, which “breathes” the history of the listed building. We had a meal together: good northern German home cooking. Very friendly service and attentive service. Some of us were also overnight guests and were completely satisfied with the rooms. The rooms, which were apparently renovated some time ago, are modern and functional.

Old rustic building. Renovated clean rooms. Delicious home-style cooking with a variety of North German dishes. Very nice staff. Lovely and open family business. As others have already reported, safe and enough parking spaces for bicycles. Children friendly. Recommended for a stopover but also for a family vacation due to the location.

We stayed (with 5 or 6 rooms) in the cozy country inn Kehdinger Hof on the occasion of a wedding celebration in the historic granary, 2 minutes away. Had a large room (1) with a large, beautiful shower room. Cyclists also like to stop here. Spending a long weekend here was a good idea, watching ships, walking on the dike, briefly going to Krautsand, the Kehdinger Land is really beautiful. In the evening there was hearty schnitzel with fried potatoes or a delicious half grilled chicken. Attentive, friendly service! I will definitely recommend it.

Very friendly staff, delicious food. The bikes are well stored, with easy charging options for e-bikes. Beds a bit narrow, but comfortable.Everything very clean. Rustic old building, a bit winding. That's how I like it. Not for Ete-Petete people.

Unfortunately I have to say that the restaurant completely smelled of smoke and it was disgusting even for us as smokers. I wouldn't recommend it with children.
