All quite correct to improve the breakfast which was a bit skimpy and the daily cleaning of the room

The worst hotel I've ever been in, even though I've traveled a lot and definitely not demanding. It is only heated in the evening, and only for two hours, despite the October cold of a maximum of 5 degrees. …

Loving rustic hotel. The room was clean and I slept very well. I received a friendly welcome and an equally friendly farewell. Breakfast was made especially for me earlier, it was rich and tasty and prepared with a lot of love. Thank you for that.

The room is a disaster, it has no pillow as such, broken plugs, hard plastic cups without seals and the shower costs 30 c. Height not suitable for people with reduced mobility

The hotel is good only that it is on the outskirts of the city. Correct breakfast and very good dinner. Thank you!

A hotel that is in need of a major renovation/clean-up. It is August 2024 and you can still see the Christmas decorations everywhere. Before you enter you have to climb quite a flight of stairs, so this hotel is not an option for the disabled. There is no check-in desk. We are here with bolderman travel. Dinner is not what you expect from German hospitality. A meager meal. You have to get the drink yourself from the bar and you will be given a piece of paper that you have to keep with you all week and hand it in at the end of the week and they will know what you drank. They don't keep track of anything themselves. The room is spacious but smells musty and the bathroom smells even more so if necessary. The mattress is okay, but if you are in bed with 2 people and one of the 2 moves, the entire bed rocks and you wake up.The hot water in the shower is a problem, according to the information in the room you should turn off the tap and wait a while. Towels cannot be hung in the bathroom because the rod hangs just above the heating. You are not allowed to use a kettle. Because the electricity grid cannot handle that. But the hotel is closed every between 10 am and 5 pm. And then there is nothing to be had.The breakfast is quite okay. But there are 2 containers with butter and a knife and everyone is digging around in the butter with that knife to spread butter on the bread. The 3 jars of jam are kept in the too-warm dining room 24 hours a day. This also applies to the fruit on the etagère. Several days of spoiled fruit and overripe bananas. And even rotten nectarine with tons of fruit flies around it.The coffee machine doesn't look very appetizingIf you want to eat gluten-free, you will be disappointed at Hotel Sonne. They fish the dough balls out of the soup and serve it as gluten-free. I just had to put my dry gluten-free bread in the toaster and it would taste good again. But there is already so much "normal" bread in it that gluten is present in large numbers. And then at the end of the holiday you are obliged to pay kurtax. Nothing wrong with that, but then you expect a guest card at the start of the holiday that gives you all kinds of benefits during your stay. When I inquired at the tourist office, I found out that the owner has been confronted more often about this negligence. All in all, I don't recommend anyone to spend their holidays in this hotel. The only nice thing was the bed decoration on the bed every day by the cleaning lady of the room

When you come into the hotel you think it's Christmas, there are Christmas decorations everywhere. The worst thing was that you couldn't shower because the seal on the shower cubicle was broken, we flooded the bathroom every time, which of course we had to clean up. The breakfast was ok but dinner was a disaster, according to all the guests who ate there.

Classic hotel with everything you need (TV, WiFi, shower). Walking through the halls you feel like you've been transported decades back in time, but that doesn't mean a bad thing

There was little light, the entrance could only be turned on and off in the same place, the one in the room, only a small lamp on a nightstand on the other side of the bed, there was nothing to decant at night, either one of the bedrooms was in the dark or it woke up the other person to to give you the light. Bad service, poorly educated waiter without knowing how to serve the beers, he made a lot of foam, he filled several of them, he removed the foam and made a single jug, therefore it was hot.

We went with an organized trip and by bus. The town is very quiet and the hotel stood still in time.In our case the room was fine but the shower tray was raised which made it difficult to get out. Not suitable for people with mobility. Perhaps this is the most important thing. There is no variety in breakfast or meals.Very unfriendly waiters.
