Down-to-earth, Upper Palatinate original with a soft core, spoiled us with tortellini after a long day of hiking, otherwise we would have had to go to sleep hungry. Very lively and interesting entertainment.

Inn in the center of Oberviechtach with a real Upper Palatinate original.The landlady and her daughter try very hard to fulfill all wishes and are always open to a conversation!The food was very tasty and there was also a selection of vegetarian options!The room was very clean, not brand new, but very stylish!

The boss was very unfriendly and wanted something to eat and was turned away on the grounds that other guests were coming because she didn't have time. It wasn't the first time. One star is still too much

Unfriendly service. I had a large piece of eggshell in my food, the statement was, it can happen... The apology only came after a long discussion. But nothing was done well. In the end, she wasn't interested at all.

Take a chance! Pleasantly surprised! Well, at first, we were put off by the lady. Seemed like we were bothering her as she was talking on the phone. Wasn't even sure the place was open as there were no customers. So we ordered not having high hopes, but the food was actually good! Older German women started to come around.

We were passing through the treetop path and I politely asked if we could get something to eat. I'm very rarely speechless, but to be insulted in such an unfriendly way for no reason: "Food? I'm not going to cook now, now I'm going to the cinema."... I was very happy to know my grandchildren were in the car, how could I have with that tone Should you explain such behavior?

Food is OK. Nothing special. However, the boss is very stressful. Yells around, sometimes very unfriendly, except to certain people. We were probably too insignificant for this woman. Intervened in our conversations without being asked. They'll never see us again. Doesn't seem to be very well attended anyway. It's a shame that the post office is no longer open at lunchtime.

When looking for a toilet for a short break, the house seemed inviting because of the cinema/restaurant.Seemed modern at first.But no.CIGARETTE MACHINE FROM THE 80s at the entrance with a broken scribbled sign.Rude when asked about the toilet.3 people asked if I could use the toilet.Bad-tempered language.Toilets tip top.

I was not welcome. There was no soap in the room. The lady said that no soap had been placed in the room because of corona. When I said: okay, luckily I still have soap myself. I got the answer: well, what are you complaining about? order (rotwein) became weiswein, and when I said something about it, the response was furious: you ordered weiswein! (other guests - Germans - had clearly also heard me say rotwein) the next morning I was barked out of the hotel at 9 o'clock by her husband, who said that his wife was in a hurry to leave with the car. and why I hadn't left yet. The car was still there at half past nine, while I was outside catching my breath.

Very nice accommodation, I stayed there for one night on a motorcycle tour and felt comfortable. The rooms are tidy and clean and the price-performance ratio is absolutely okay. The food in the evening (snack) was delicious and down-to-earth. The breakfast is completely sufficient and the owners are very nice and attentive. If I'm in the area again I'll stay there again.
