The holiday apartment is tastefully furnished and everything was clean at first glance. Upon closer inspection, all the kitchen equipment had to be put through the dishwasher, but that wasn't possible because it was defective. When we complained, we were given the key to the apartment opposite so we could use the dishwasher. What's a shame is that the concept is that you have to make your own beds upon arrival. After a long tiring journey, that's the last thing you want to do. We left with a mixed picture and feeling. Yes, the apartment is harmoniously furnished and has a quiet location, but there were a few things that didn't quite fit.

We spent 10 days here between Christmas and New Year and were completely happy with our choice. The location just outside the town guarantees peace and quiet.The apartments are largely furnished with Ikea. Ok, small compromises in comfort due to this, kitchen appliances get a bit stuck, just like Ikea. The house itself and the outdoor area are beautifully designed. The sauna is good and the reservation and use went well. The bread roll service was also great and worked. Small improvement, the fitted sheets should fit the beds and the rolls should be fixed. We have been here a few times when traveling with the bed. There is a shelter for bicycles, shopping opportunities are available in Born or in Prerow, 7-10 minutes by car.We are happy to recommend the apartments. Note Apartment Ente may not be the best choice given the view, so it's better to book another apartment.

Very nice, clean & modernly furnished apartment. Service top. Sauna great. Fully equipped kitchen.Unfortunately, very noisy apartments. 1 point deducted for this. you can hear every word from the neighbors & from the TV) and not particularly considerate “roommates” in the house (never-ending barking of dogs & moving chairs, from morning to evening/night). 2nd point deduction is for animal friendliness... the thought that dogs and cats were lying on the couch where we slept is repulsive to me. Animals have no place in an apartment.Otherwise the apartment is not for pedestrians as it is a bit remote. But it's okay with the bike. There is a parking space for every apartment & if everyone parks wisely, then everyone will fit.

My wife and me visited "Haus am Schilf" a few times and usually stay over new years eve. "Haus am Schilf" are seven Holiday Homes, very appealing and modern. For services and home details visit the website. The location is on the edge of Wieck a. Darss at the end of the road. And therefore as quiet as my wife and me like it.

We have already been to the Haus am Schilf for vacation several times. We know the Hahn, Seestern and Muschel holiday apartments and are absolute fans of the Haus am Reed! The entire complex with apartments and a huge garden is simply a dream. There is plenty of space, there is a sauna and a barbecue facility. The apartments are very nice, modern, clean and well equipped. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Facilities, location and price of Haus am Schilf are unbeatable. We were able to travel with children, dogs and cats without any problems. The only thing we actually lack is a washing machine for a fee. Unfortunately you always have to drive to Wustrow.

Were here three or four years ago and were quite happy with the holiday apartment...unfortunately not at all this time... mini single bathroom... for 4 people... mini kitchen with no storage space...steep stairs to the bedroom and everything else not safe for small children...sockets below and dangling cables from lamps, radio and television are not a visual feast for the eyes either...no closet in the bedroom upstairs just an open bar with boxes as a system...the reaction of the office workers is also disappointing I could only be reached by phone...

The Fish apartment was well furnished, but without any decoration, it was like a hotel. Kitchen very small, hardly any storage space after shopping, narrow mini sink. Plastic chairs in the living room very uncomfortable! Apartments were very noisy, you could always hear the doors closing loudly. On two out of three days of the stay, the service staff was on site between 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. You don't see the landlords. The sauna only reached a maximum of 65 degrees in the upper area on two evenings, despite the setting being 110 degrees. (Costs €12 for one hour of use as it takes an hour to heat up) The thermostat hangs right above the oven! If you stand in the sauna, it always stays cold up to your knees because of the stone floor without underfloor heating (although available in the relaxation room). That could be improved, what a shame! We usually go to the sauna regularly, but at 90 degrees! The beds were good. A bit narrow, but oh well!

The location of the house is good, the apartment (fish) is adequately equipped, but a bit carelessly furnished. The kitchen is very small and almost an imposition for guests who like to cook (only two hotplates). The cleaning staff was very unfriendly when we left - we were insulted because we didn't leave the apartment until 10:15 a.m. instead of 10:00 a.m.... We can't really recommend the Haus am Reed.
