Was visiting the Kertscher Hof on Whit Monday. Unfortunately I was a little late. But the landlady was still so friendly after work that she served me an iced coffee with ice cream and cream. Despite the busy day with around 100 guests, she took 30 minutes to have an extensive conversation. I just say thank you, thank you. Keep it up. I'll come back soon and then a little earlier. We became aware of the country hotel due to a family celebration in the local area. The hotel is family-run and the service is very attentive and warm. Checking in was easy and not tied to a time, which is good if you want to arrive earlier. The rooms are furnished in a cozy but not exaggerated country house style, there is a television and in-house WiFi. Some of the bathrooms are very spacious with a shower and a hairdryer is also available. The breakfast is very rich, varied and you are asked about your personal wishes. Unfortunately we cannot rate the a la carte food. The hotel is really in a very rural and pleasantly quiet location, but still central for things to do in the area (Leipzig, Altenburg, etc.). In the yard there is a swing and a sandpit, and inside there is a play area with lots of toys for the children. The farm cats are very fond of visitors, but not intrusive. For us it was a very pleasant and relaxing stay. We were warmly welcomed and will definitely come back. Clear recommendation for families!

The innkeepers are very friendly and the service goes quickly. The ambience inside is very nice and the small courtyard is beautifully designed with a beer garden and playground for the children.

Former cowshed that was converted into a hotel and inn. The family business offers good food, drinks and a relaxed atmosphere for family celebrations. The inn is in a very rural location, there is a lot of nature and the inner courtyard is beautifully designed. A big compliment goes to the waitress who has the place under control. I personally can't say anything about the rooms, but according to Grandma they are said to be very nice.

It was worth it again!We have now been guests at the Kertscher Hof for several family celebrations and each time we have been overwhelmed by the warmth and hospitality. It is lovingly decorated for every season and occasion and the selection of delicious dishes is great. Whether it's a Thuringian specialty or a soup with a side dish, you'll always remember the great taste and the generous portions. Well, then there's the Bauernkucken with coffee, so no one can resist that anymore. We are already looking forward to the next celebration!

A great yard for celebrations and events. We celebrated our wedding there with friends and family. It was a beautiful day on the farm. Mrs. and Mr. Hochmut prepared everything perfectly... the rooms, the food, the garden... everything was wonderfully organized. We really celebrated our dream wedding at Kertscher Hof ❤️❤️❤️ with 38 guests. We will happily come back...the food tastes so good there 👍, we have rarely eaten something so delicious 😋. We were able to celebrate the second family celebration at the Kertscher Hof and are once again of the opinion that if it is possible, we would like to come back. 6 years ago a celebration with over 30 people, a buffet to melt away. The next morning a great breakfast. Because some used the hotel rooms. Everything very clean and tidy. Yesterday December 25th Then a smaller celebration where it was opened especially for us. This time too, a perfect meal, a quick and very uncomplicated arrangement beforehand. Very warm hosts.

Super nice service, delicious breakfast and, to top it off, a delicious meal in the room. I am really very satisfied.Update November 29, 2022This time too I am very, very satisfied with the service at the Kertscher Hof. This time, even though the restaurant is closed, hotel guests were served black beer steak with fried potatoes and beans. There were also very nice conversations with the innkeepers and a freshly tapped Köstrizer. What more could you want after a long day at work.I can only more than recommend the Kertscher Hof.
