Don't understand the negative reviews. We had a very nice 4 night stay, with a great view. It was relatively clean and we received fresh towels every day and the beds were made fresh every day. The stairs are really steep, but you quickly get used to them. For the location and price with relatively acceptable rooms it was great, and the staff was also very friendly!

Basically a hostel with a private bathroom. Window held open with piece of wood, no lamp, no kettle, nowhere to put your clothes. It was ok as we only really slept here and the bed was super comfy & clean sheets every day. Staff couldn’t care less, totally ignored you. All felt abit seedy. Location perfect though

The hotel's greatest strength is its location, it is indisputable and the second is the kindness of the staff who work there. There are many negative reviews related to the stairs, which the truth is, they are not for everyone because they are steep and long but nothing out of the ordinary and the three surrounding areas are the same! Another thing they say is that the cleaning is bad and that there are bedbugs...well I didn't see any and I slept quite well under a fan that was a little noisy but when you're tired you really don't feel it. In my opinion, the hotel is good and if you are going to meet and walk and end up tired, this hotel will allow you a good internet connection, a hot shower and a good night. It has three stars for me.

I was reviewing all the comments before arriving, and the truth is they are not as they say.It has an EXCELLENT LOCATION, everything is close.The bathroom is small, but it is comfortable.The stairs are many, but it's nothing you can't do.If you have a wheeled suitcase, it will be complicated but not impossible.It is a great place with great service, everyone who always attended to us with joy and respect. They supported us in everything and their treatment was EXCELLENT.And this hotel is VERY good, I already lived it and knew it and YES I would return ❤️

Bed Bugs!I repeat, BED BUGS!!!!Stayed there for 4 nights last month, had nasty bites all over my body. Not sure what it was at first, finally found a bed bug drenched in my blood on the morning when I left!!Reported to the staff before I left, got the reassurance for a refund. A few days later they came back after an “investigation” that no bed bugs were found, of course no money was returned.Been to over 30 countries at this point, hands down the worst travel experience I’ve ever had in my life.

You get what you pay for. Location is great, but if i know how efficient amsterdam's transport system is, I would've booked somewhere else.I wouldn't book again but there's nothing against the hotel staffs. You get what you pay for (Not dirt cheap but cheaper than other hotels in its prime location)Tip: Narrow staircase where you have to carry your luggages upstairs. Do not book if you have alot of luggages or travel with friends, this hotel may break your friendship

An exciting hotel in the heart of the city. However, you should note that the extremely steep staircase is "somewhat" difficult to manage with suitcases and is therefore more suitable for backpackers. Since the room isn't too big, suitcases are rather unsuitable here.Otherwise, the furnishings in the room leave something to be desired, but it is of course sufficient for a few days. That's why we're still happy to come back and look forward to our next visit to Di-Ann City Center.

If you are looking for reviews to see if you stay here, don't be! You still have time, spend a little more but your comfort is worth it. This is not a hotel, it's a homeless shelter. The photos you have seen in the publications are not of this hotel, the rooms are dirty, they have hair from other guests, there is harmful animal fauna, flee from here!I know it gives one star but if I could give it -100 I would put it, the worst place in all of Amsterdam.

This hotel is half the price of anything else for a reason. Visit at your own risk. The location is perfect, but it is not a nice hotel.The photos don't do it justice, the photos are much nicer than reality. Reality is much worse. Rooms had a *horrible* smell. Stayed there because it was the only hotel available but even so, I wouldn't go again.(Also, 4 floors and no lift, very steep stairs)

Went here for the weekend with my son in law and it is in a great location only 10 min walk to main centre with loads of bars, cafes and restaurants, but the room was not what I booked but as we was only sleeping I was not bothered but we had no where to put our clothes so if you stay longer than 2 days make sure you get a wardrobe.

Booked non refundable but had family circumstances so contacted hotels.com within days and a month before stay to enquire if could change the date. 3 days later a no. So hotel di ann got money for nothing 😒
