With the camper van directly on the Ruhr. Pure relaxation. Nice hosts, great restaurant nearby.Unfortunately not many options for the dog outside the place, but acceptable.

You will be well accommodated by Uwe, the friendly groundskeeper. Dogs are allowed. However, the parking space is not suitable for children as it is located directly on the Ruhr. Ma is right on the water. We'd love to come back!

Beautiful small-scale campsite. But on the pricey side.Neat toilet and showers, everything is super clean. You can dispose of a chemical toilet here, washing up areas are available. WiFi is not available. Neat, beautiful places with a view of the water.

Very nice little campsite in the middle of the Ruhr area. We were extremely surprised at how quiet it is here. You felt a bit guilty when your smartphone made a sound. The complex is extremely well maintained and designed and furnished with a lot of imagination. We discovered new little things here every day. Be it a ladder on a hedge near which rubber boots were stuck into the hedge to make it look as if someone had fallen into the hedge, the garbage containers lovingly converted into beach chairs or the really pompous banana plants and palm trees that obviously stand here all year round and are very good thrive. The lawn on the paved pitches is also well-kept and like a carpet on which you can happily walk barefoot. The sanitary facilities looked completely new when we visited, so I felt guilty about going to the toilet in my street shoes. Uwe, the groundskeeper, greeted us in a friendly manner, showed us everything when we arrived and quickly helped the next day with a short circuit we had caused. Conclusion: If we are around here, we will come back here. And a big recommendation to all campers to take a closer look at this beautiful spot.
