Perfect country hotel with a very good inn - ideal for an overnight stayWe chose the country hotel as a stopover on the way to South Tyrol.For overnight stays while in transit, we prefer to choose hotels with restaurants that offer traditional, regional cuisine.We have had very good experiences with houses from the “Private Brewery Inns” association.Although Neumaiers Hirsch no longer brews its own beer, the inn exceeded our expectations.We liked the quiet location near the motorway and the secure parking lot on the hotel grounds, as well as the clean and quiet rooms in the newly built hotel wing.The modern building with elevator is directly connected to the historic inn.The old building has been individually and tastefully renovated - the cozy rustic character of the old guest rooms has been retained.The dinner was very good and exactly what we wanted. My onion roast was of the best quality: tender meat, a very aromatic sauce and delicious homemade spaetzle.The Swabian schnitzel with mountain cheese and ham filling was also very tender and tasty.We enjoyed the Allgäu Meckatzer beer surprisingly well with our meal - it's a great alternative to home-brewed beer.We also liked the breakfast buffet with fresh local products.We were very satisfied and if we are looking for somewhere to stay near Ulm in the future, Neumaiers Hirsch would be our first choice.

Very nice hotel and restaurant. Conveniently located a little outside but still central by car. The rooms are great, the beds perfect, very quiet. The food was good, home-style and honestly cooked. Very good price/performance ratio. The Aperol was a sensation. The breakfast was excellent and left nothing to be desired. I would be happy to come again at any time.

We were able to celebrate our wedding at Neumaiers Hirsch in April and were absolutely thrilled. The uncomplicated and warm manner of Asja and her team made us feel like we were in great hands. The food was really delicious. We can really recommend the location (Stadl).Thank you very much again!Melissa & Florian

Rooms clean but not renovated, which is okay in this location. But what didn't work at all was the old bed, which creaked so much that you could hardly sleep well. Too bad. A decent bed would be expected in a hotel. Therefore only 3 stars from me. Breakfast was good. Staff nice. New charging stations available, despite a lot of experience on my part, I couldn't get them to work. They don't appear at any of the usual providers, not even at the chargepoint provider listed on the column. Chargepoint's NFC function also doesn't work. Hotel staff only refers to external providers.

I only review restaurant! Enjoy your meal. Bad service. You feel like you've been "handled". Prices too high for that. Ambiance: ..well. Depending on where you sit.There are better restaurants in the area.
