Das Fischerhaus

We spent eleven great days at the beginning of September 2021 in the Vollmann-Schipper family's fishing house.Just looking at the fisherman's house immediately gives you a holiday feeling. The red facade looks great and definitely fits the name “Fischerhaus”. The same can be said about the interior design. You can immediately tell that the house was furnished with a lot of love and care was taken to underline the character of the old fisherman's house.The great oak dining table with a rustic corner bench and pendant lamp in the dining room, the two Swedish stoves that can be used for heating, and the restored blue workbench in the kitchen are just a few examples.Isabelle has a really good eye for details like this.The kitchen is fully equipped. Due to the hot weather it was perfect that there was also a large freezer where we could store our ice cream.There are two bathrooms, which, like the rest of the house, have been renovated and are extremely clean.Both bathrooms have a shower and a toilet.In the bathroom on the ground floor there is a washing machine and a dryer, both modern brand appliances. So doing laundry on vacation still isn't fun, but it's also no more work than at home.From the living room you can look out over your own swimming lake and jetty. The view is great, a real postcard motif. Even on days with bad weather, you can enjoy the lake and the jetty.There is a large parasol and two comfortable sun loungers on the jetty, which we were happy to use because of the nice weather.We were also able to comfortably launch our inflatable kayak via the jetty and even get in with dry feet. Very cool!Due to its convenient location, you can easily go on excursions from the Fischerhaus, as it is only 10 minutes to the A8.But you can also reach nearby excursion destinations that are worth seeing and nearby.For example, it's only a 5-minute drive to Silbersee.And Legoland is very easy to get to overland; the journey only takes 15 minutes.The Vollmann-Schipper family is a really lovely and nice host family. You can tell that they put a lot of love and passion into renting out the fisherman's house.We didn't miss anything. Immediately after our stay in September we booked for next year's summer and we are really looking forward to the Fischerhaus and the Vollmann-Schipper family.

This holiday home near Günzburg is very idyllic and cozy. Went there with two families to visit Legoland and were totally thrilled with the house, the view and the location. It's a shame we were only there for so short a time. (3 nights) Gladly again! Superbly furnished, extremely clean and everything you could wish for.
