Eifelcottage am Waldseepfad (Ferienhaus)

We were there with a group of 13 people to celebrate my birthday. The house is very clean, well-equipped and offers enough space for 13 people.The highlight is the large terrace behind the house with a barbecue oven and a large table.The driveway also offers space for several cars and can be shot through a gate, so our dog was able to move around completely freely.The forest lake can be reached quickly on foot.We'd love to come back.

A very nice and clean house.

As a group of 10 people, we spent a long weekend (4 days) in the "Eifelcottage am Waldseepfad".The house is located in Rieden. The town of Rieden is very beautifully located. The lake there with a lakeside restaurant offers relaxation and comfortable sitting on the sun terrace. Shops such as a bakery with a small integrated supermarket are within walking distance (approx. 4 minutes) from the holiday home. There is also a restaurant (which we did not visit) within walking distance (approx. 4 minutes).The house is in very good condition and offers plenty of space for large groups. There are two terraces where you can sit beautifully (although we liked the upper terrace better because you sit more in the green and it is protected from the view). A barbecue fireplace is available. This is also in a very well-maintained condition and was enough to feed 10 people without stress. There are enough tables and chairs that you can easily get along with 12 people.There are two sufficiently large refrigerators for drinks and grilled meat.The kitchen is equipped with everything you need. The kitchen was clean and equipped with a dishwasher, oven, induction hob, etc.The dining area offers enough space for a large group, so you can have breakfast or eat together as a group. There is also a TV in the dining area.There is a beautifully furnished living room with a TV and a comfortable sofa. We used this to play in the evenings.The bedrooms are very individually furnished and you can tell that someone has made an effort to give the guests a feeling of homeliness and not just turn bulky waste into furnishings, as in some other holiday homes.The bathrooms were all very nicely decorated and, above all, clean.The sauna in the basement is really nicely decorated, but we didn't rent it, which we will definitely do next time.The landlady, Ms Beate Dahm-Schmitz, was very accommodating, friendly and helpful. The process regarding the rental agreement, arrival and departure was very simple and uncomplicated. We would like to thank you again for this! We also got very good tips about what you can do in the area or in the immediate vicinity and that was also very helpful.We can recommend this holiday home without any restrictions and with a very clear conscience!
