Very nice and sparkling clean guesthouse, top breakfast, very nice and attentive hosts. Close to the beach and also in the pedestrian zone in 5 minutes. Our first visit to Borkum, but we will be back.

I would like to share my wonderful experience on Borkum with the accommodation "Strandbude" and can warmly recommend this guesthouse. For my 4-day stay I was looking for a room with a shower, toilet and a good breakfast - a hotel was not necessary. Finally I came across Hilke and Fabien's Strandbude guesthouse. Booking through their website went smoothly.On the day of arrival I was warmly welcomed and my room was ready for immediate occupancy. The room was comfortably furnished and very clean. The bathroom was in the hallway, but I was aware of that beforehand and it wasn't a problem at all. However, there are also rooms with private bathrooms. Breakfast was a real highlight: the charming breakfast room and the rich buffet with everything your heart could desire - from grain rolls to cold cuts, fresh vegetables, jam and muesli. An ideal start to the day!There is also the option to help yourself to drinks such as coffee, wine or beer during the day or evening for a fee. The location of the guesthouse is excellent: close to the seafront promenade and only about 15 minutes walk from the center.For anyone who wants to enjoy Borkum alone or as a couple, the Strandbude guesthouse is a top choice. Many thanks to Hilke and Fabien for the great service and the great time – I’ll be happy to come back!

Really nice guesthouse close to the beach. Lots of little things make your stay comfortable. The owner couple are friendly and very helpful (thanks again for repairing the headphones). The rooms are cozy and have everything you need in a small space. The breakfast buffet is varied and very tasty. I found the almost family atmosphere with the guests extraordinary. You can tell that the hosts don't just work. Thank you very much and I hope we have the opportunity to come again.

Guesthouse near the beach, lovingly run by the young hosts. Rooms, called stalls, beautifully designed and equipped, very comfortable. Breakfast was very good, so you can start the day well. You feel comfortable here ❤️

We had a lovely week in the beach hut, very relaxed, very nice reception, owner Fabi is a very relaxed, nice guy! Breakfast buffet was great, everything was lovingly prepared! My niece was also able to spontaneously join us for breakfast, no problem. Really nice! We felt very comfortable and say thank you!

It's my first time in Borkum. This is a paradise on earth. Pure nature. The great Art Nouveau hotels and small, large houses remind me of my childhood. This guesthouse is like a small 4 star hotel. Great breakfast, family atmosphere. The boss takes good care of the guests. Always calm, in a good mood and relaxed. Direct hit...100% recommendation. I say thank you...here I come again.

Lovingly run guesthouse in a top location. Approximately 50 m from the beach and North Sea aquarium, delicious and varied breakfast buffet and attentive hosts who live hospitality. This was our second time there and we enjoyed every minute. In every corner you can tell that the guests have been thought of: umbrellas, binoculars, mats, stunt kites - if you forget, you can simply borrow something. Thank you both, see you next year!!!
