We were there for a week, unfortunately we didn't make it the 1 minute to the water, it ended up being 15 minutes... even more because it was a steep climb, the beach was extremely overcrowded and the water was typical for a busy lake, very agitated and algae. The house was nice and spacious, cleanliness was ok... but nothing more, the beds in the parents' bedroom were torture, at least for me... the mattress was rock hard and it creaked very loudly with every movement... you could also use the pillow parts in the bed don't mention...equipment of the house was very good. Bathroom was modern, terrace was a dream, the only thing missing was the deck chair. There wasn't much in the park itself...a playground, a table tennis table, a volleyball court with a basketball hoop and that's it. The contact person was very nice and helpful but no one was on site... a small kiosk or something like that would have been nice... for fresh rolls or something like that...No matter...we enjoyed the peace and quiet...

A great holiday home complex!! It's a stone's throw from the lake, and families with children will find great leisure opportunities here!! There is a nice playground and also the opportunity to play table tennis!! In Bad Arolsen there are a large number of restaurants and a beautiful residential palace that can be visited!! A top recommendation for me!!🤗🤗🤗

Beautiful holiday home with one flaw. No shower. Really bothered me. Also stupid: you can't drive your vehicle to the house but have to transport your clothes to the house with the handcart. If you then have to go uphill with the cart... congratulations.

A really quiet vacation. Cars must remain outside in the parking lot. Our house was in the middle of the forest. You can't even hear anything from the house next door. Ideal for those who are looking for peace and relaxation. It's nice that dogs are allowed.

We fled to Sauerland before Carnival. So we found ourselves at Twistesee. The park is located slightly above Lake Twiste and was very quiet and relaxing during our time. Our house had something of a youth hostel from the 70s. One doesn't like it, the other doesn't. We thought it was very cool. The house had everything that needed to be had. Even a dishwasher. It was great for carnival refugees like us. We booked the same house again on the way back...for next year's carnival ;)

Beautiful park, great location, close to Lake Twiste and the water ski lift. Great hikes possible, Bad Arolsen with its residential castle is easy to reach. We'll be back.

The holiday park is not far from Lake Twiste. It was only a 10-minute walk from our holiday home to Lake Twiste. The house wasn't that clean but it wasn't very dirty either. Everything was there in the house. 1 room with a double bed, there were 4 single beds on the upper floor. TV, WiFi, fridge, kitchen, bathroom with shower. Only the stairs to the upper floor are not so easy to walk because the steps are very narrow and not well arranged. There is a playground and a mini golf course, the clubs and balls were available in house 40. There was also a grill with charcoal. And the lido was also very nice, but you weren't allowed to take dogs onto the beach.

Very spacious log cabin in the middle of the forest. There is a large playground in front of the house for children. Water skiing, outdoor beach swimming pool at the dam. Lots of restaurants nearby. Golf course, mini golf for young and old. Something for everyone. A lovely holiday with the family or grandchildren.
