A beautiful area with great cycle paths not far from Lake Edersee.The Hufeisen family is warm and friendly.The children can jump around in the garden and enjoy the animals.A supermarket is within walking distance.

A great farm holiday for families with small children. So many animals (cats, goats, geese, chickens, rabbits) running around freely there. Lots of play options. And Mr and Mrs Horseshoes are incredibly lovely and warm-hearted hosts. We'll definitely be back!

Booked at short notice, we felt very comfortable at this holiday farm.Our beautiful room in the main house with the pretty “heart bed linen” was comfortably furnished and extremely clean.The hosts were very friendly and the farmer made a lot of effort and patiently answered every question from my granddaughter.It's really nice that the children can help look after the animals.My granddaughter was particularly fond of the pony “Bonny”. She still raves today and would love to “move in” there.

Anyone who thinks this is a 5 star hotel is wrong. This is an old farm converted into a holiday farm that can accommodate up to 4 small families. The rooms are quite simply furnished. The buildings themselves are quite old. Accordingly, there is also the ancient house feeling, which brings back nostalgic memories for me. Squeaky/cracking floors, thin walls, rooms that were typically designed for the time. This takes you back to old times.For the children, the many small animals are like a small zoo. The cats like to be petted. It's generally better just to watch the geese and chickens. In the yard and in the barn there are some play options (sand mountain, sandpit, straw mountains) for the children.For adults there is a barbecue area with plenty of seating.Each apartment has its own kitchen with a stove, kettle, coffee machine and plenty of cutlery.In the immediate vicinity there is kik, Lidl, Aldi, Edeka, a drinks market and a gas station. So you can stock up very well here.In just a few minutes by car you can reach all the attractions (Edersee, zoo, TreeTopWalk, corn maze, toboggan run,...)

I can only recommend it...A paradise for small children.You can help feed the animals. There is plenty where the children can play and the farm owners are very friendly and helpful.It wasn't the last time I was there. We'll be back for the kite festival.

Cozy holiday apartment with a farm. There are many animals, families of cats, goats, chickens, ponies, ducks, etc. A very friendly and helpful host couple. We would come back.

It was a really nice vacation with the Hufeisen family. The children were allowed to help look after the animals, we were able to grill in the garden, the apartment was very cozy and clean and the hosts were very friendly! Mr. Horseshoe even took us all on a tractor ride. Really great!

The farm is run by a nice, helpful and open-minded couple. There is a lot to discover, especially for children:Cats, goats, a rabbit, a pony, two guinea pigs, geese and chickens, a large barn with hay bales for climbing and playing, ladders, a slide, a children's car parkVarious seating options (tables and chairs/benches) throughout the yardBarbecue and campfire areaSlide and swingsBut we adults also liked it here.We stayed in the holiday apartment on the 1st floor of the main house => cozy and cleanThere are several supermarkets near the farm (Lidl, Edeka, Aldi).It is also worth exploring the surrounding area, such as the Edersee with numerous entertainment options, the Kellerwald World Heritage Site, Waldeck Castle with a great view, Kassel and much more.Really recommended!
