The hotel is easily accessible in Andernach, directly on the Rhine.Free on-site parking is available around the hotel. If these are occupied, you can park in the hotel's underground car park for a fee.Our rooms had a view of the Rhine. And it really is a view of the Rhine and not (look around the corner with a craned neck) an “advertising-technical” view of the Rhine. The restaurant is excellent. You should definitely plan an evening in the Skylounge. The service is excellent and the food is delicious. The view over the Rhine does not need to be emphasized. The receptionists were rather rude across the board.I spent my first night getting rid of 4 large black cellar spiders - including from my bed.The spider's friends had then nested over my bed (I can only shake my head and deny the receptionist's statement that this happens when you ventilate. Cobwebs have no place in a hotel room in this price range)I quickly noticed that every 60 minutes there was some kind of knocking noise - like something was trying to come on. Unfortunately the reception was no longer staffed and I couldn't change rooms. The next morning I was advised to turn off the air conditioning????? And when I said that I didn't have it on, I was told quite rudely that it was due to the defective air circulation system. You know that and there just hasn't been a technician there yet (I was too taken aback at that moment to ask why I was even booked in when it was known that there was a problem)I then got another room. The breakfast buffet is really generous but I have never experienced that fried eggs, boiled eggs, bacon and sausages are NOT kept warm. They were all cold. Only the scrambled eggs were kept warm.I also found it totally unprofessional to gossip about guests with my colleague at the reception. Since the breakfast room is right next to the reception you couldn't hear it.I would recommend sending the reception staff (not the cleaning staff, they are super friendly and on the ball) to training.

Very nice hotel, very clean and very nice and courteous staff. The food in the Sky Bar was very good and the breakfast left nothing to be desired. |Very directly on the Rhine. …

We have been here several times for work and I am sometimes very shocked. The receptionists at the reception were more than unfriendly. Errors were not acknowledged either. No apology or anything like that. On the contrary, there were some stupid sayings! Several things happened during the stay, which is why I would not choose the hotel again. Too bad!

We stayed at the Hotel Einstein as a couple and we really liked the hotel. Rooms are modern and sparkling clean and the location and breakfast are also great. We would have only liked a second coffee machine for breakfast as there was a lot of demand for coffee/tea water and a fridge in the room would have been perfect. We'd love to come back!

Very expensive hotel. Room ok, unfortunately the fan/air conditioner didn't work so it felt like being in an oven, 36 degree day. We had dinner in the restaurant, nice view. So-so food for a burger 25 €, extremely expensive drinks. Sevice so so.

Price/performance is not right. Price for dinner is way too high. Rooms must have a refrigerator for this price.

At the invitation of a well-known prefabricated house manufacturer, I and my family were able to spend 3 nights at the EINSTEIN Hotel am Römerpark. I found the hotel to be very appealing both visually and in terms of location. The 2 rooms had a wonderful view of the Rhine. The tasty cocktails from the Sky Bar on the 5th floor also contributed to a successful end to the day. The Tayhus family, the owners, can only congratulate you on this beautiful property. Unfortunately, the promised “warmth of service” fell short, especially at the reception. When I checked out, the receptionist rudely asked me to pay the underground parking fees for the full stay (3 days). The reality, however, was that I only had to park in the underground car park for one night and could otherwise use one of the currently sparse free outdoor parking spaces on the remaining days. These were so rare because all other parking spaces on the west side of the hotel (Kirchstrasse) were inaccessible due to road construction work.At check-in I was informed about the possibility of using the underground car park and the cost of 10 EUR/day, which is fine. However, there was no mention here that if you used it once you would have to pay for the entire stay. After asking about a customer-oriented solution during check-out, the receptionist told me that they would not discuss it any further, but would "simply" bill the prefabricated house manufacturer for the additional parking costs and that the matter would be resolved. It was by no means clear to me, but I wanted a conversation with a superior. The person in charge, Ms. G., sat right next to me and in no way tried to solve the problem, but rather, in my opinion, tried to introduce me to other guests. It was explained to me that it was not possible to know when someone had used the underground parking spaces and that it was therefore clear that you would have to pay the parking fees for the "full" stay. However, I was a bit surprised by this statement because I had to ring the bell every time to get into the underground car park. I was also rudely rejected by my superior, Ms. G., with the statement that the matter had now been resolved because the prefabricated house manufacturer had now been invoiced for this and this could no longer be corrected. As I left the hotel I was smugly wished "We hope you had a nice stay...".Dear Tayhus family, I can only say the hotel was great, the reception staff was a flop. I know myself that it is currently not easy to get good employees in the catering/hotel industry. I would therefore recommend that you train your employees in customer friendliness and customer orientation so that the hotel's great impression is not undermined. By the way, I remember a little incident from the day before. At the breakfast buffet there were regular waiting times at the only coffee machine. So my partner also had to wait, which is entirely justifiable. However, if my partner waits until the person in front of her has finished preparing her drink, and when she does, Ms. G. pushes forward to get herself hot water and responds with a smile, that's not a good sign either Customer friendliness
