Very nice accommodation and really nice and accommodating people. I was granted many small special requests. There is a very rich and good breakfast and cold drinks with a trustworthy cash register. And a really beautiful garden with a view of the Elbe. Real recommendation.

Very nice guesthouse with a great garden that you can use. From the garden you can look out over the Elbe and in the evening you can see the illuminated historic elevator. You can simply take drinks yourself and then throw the money into a piggy bank. The prices are super fair. We liked it.

Overall, a very pleasant stay as part of a cycling trip along the Elbe cycle path. I was looking for something simple for the night, got this and a great breakfast with fresh fruit, rolls, eggs, pancakes, muesli, spreads/toppings. Everyone was always friendly and attentive, so it can generally only be recommended.

Such a warm welcome to Bad Schandau, the man at the reception was friendly and cheerful as he checked us in and showed us around the property. There is a cute garden and ping-pong table, a building with a small living room and a drinks station with an honor-system piggy bank to pay for what you use. He gave us restaurant recommendations and suggested a reservation. For breakfast, we were offered different types of “brot” to choose from, very cute.Two things to note- there was no hand soap or shower soap in the room although there was dish soap in the kitchen. Also, you are quite close to the train line, so if you leave your windows open, you will hear them at night.

Ideal for us as the starting point of the Elbe cycle path. No problem leaving the car here until we return for a fair fee. The first impressions of the Elbe Sandstone Mountains can be easily reached from here either by ferry, historic tram and on foot or by bike.With the varied, lovingly prepared breakfast, you can start the day well.You get all the tips you could need. We would have preferred to stay a few more days.

We were there for two nights. The staff was super friendly to us. Although we are vegetarian and vegan, we both had a delicious breakfast. But you should clarify in advance to be on the safe side. The guesthouse is right next to the ferry, which only takes a few minutes to get to the center. Great stay, thank you very much!PS: The large garden can be used. We had the most fun on the table tennis table 🏓

I had the Fährblick apartment, which left nothing to be desired in terms of size and furnishings. As a family with children you sleep in one room. You can take the ferry to Bad Schandau, Krippen is a district. The bus lines 252 and 241, the ferries and the S1 were the best ways to get me to my hiking destinations. Or you can start straight away e.g. B. the Malerweg. Good information material is available and a lot of information can be obtained from the host. Breakfast buffet ok. A bit expensive at €14 for my taste. The train can be heard especially when it has to squeak to a stop there. Otherwise very quiet.It's definitely nice to sit outside in the summer with all the possibilities. Small playground available.

Very friendly and helpful staff, neat rooms, good location for trips around the area. The proximity of the railway station ensures quick (and cheap if you buy the Saxon Switzerland Mobility Guest Pass on site) connections to nearby attractions (a few minutes by train to Königstein or Bastei). An ideal place for a base for walking, cycling or car/rail trips with beautiful views.

The guesthouse is located in the small town of Krippen, which lacks nothing in terms of tourist infrastructure. The Schrammsteine are exactly opposite on the other side of the Elbe. The ferry ride is included in the spa fee, so you can start comfortably in the morning with a small ferry. I really enjoyed the friendliness and the nice atmosphere there. Tip for Google directions doesn't follow Google, turn right one street before! There are three restaurants in town and a small grocer that has everything you need.

Ideal for cyclists and hikers. Guesthouse directly on the Elbe cycle path. Hiking and circular hiking trails in the immediate vicinity (e.g. Malerweg). Lockable garage for bicycles. Charging option for e-bikes. In the garden there are deck chairs and a garden house with the opportunity to warm up food. (Microwave) Well-stocked drinks fridge. Drink prices OK, payment is made to a trust fund.Very friendly and helpful hosts.I give the location 4 stars because of its proximity to the train. But with the windows closed there was no sound.

Simply fantastic accommodation. We had a cyclist room. The wheels are locked away. The room was perfect for our purposes. It seemed to have been newly renovated and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The breakfast was really tasty, varied and prepared with a lot of love. Lots of homemade items e.g. B. the quince jam. Magical little hut in the garden where you can stop and have a drink (on site, money in a money box, very reasonable prices) with a view of the Elbe. I'm almost a little sad that we weren't there longer.

I'm a bit torn on this review..Positive:- Very nice owner, who is also flexible and really tries hard.- Good breakfast with a good selection.- The garden is very beautiful and when the weather is good you can relax there.Negative:- It simply smelled strange in the room, which was in the separate building outside (for my taste, it smelled). Another review here has already noted this. I'm not sure if it's the floor or or - but it wasn't pleasant.- Some say the rooms are basic, which is true. For me it was a bit too easy, which ultimately made it uncomfortable. It had more of a youth hostel feel.- Bathroom is clean per se, but no longer in great condition and partly worn.- TV is no longer up to date- If you book a "budget room", the toilet and shower are external and may be shared (this is also stated) - but you would have to go around the main building once, from the outside down the basement exit into the boiler room and there is an extra room with a toilet and shower...

Very good bike packer guesthouse on the Elbe cycle path. Excellent service and a nice location with a garden and gazebo to linger. The breakfast was a blast. Just the right thing to relax after a long bike ride.

Great location and service. Stayed there for 10 days. Excellent breakfast and nice rooms. If you are a trainspotter you can sit in the garden with a cold beverage and watch the trains go by. Highly recommened pension.
