The place is nicely located and clean. Likewise the showers and toilets. What is no longer up to date is the check-in and check-out process. Payment is only made at check-out and this makes the departure very unspontaneous. Internet doesn't really work. Neither WiFi nor mobile communications. We had our Starlink antenna with us and were able to connect to the Internet. I don't understand why the operator doesn't use at least one of these antennas and supply the space via WLAN. I am an entrepreneur myself. The operator is grumpy and doesn't seem to be pursuing his passion here, which is a real shame for the location.

Quaint and beautiful. We were thrilled. Here too, everything was right. The weak WiFi signal in the middle of the mountains wasn't bad. We were already in completely different places. Everything was clean and reasonable. The sound of the Kirnitzsch made it easy to fall asleep. The place is a great starting point for hikes. Thank you for this great time with you.

Despite having a WiFi password, we had neither WiFi nor a network at our stand, which made planning our tours extremely difficult. The sanitary building is clean. Sufficient toilets and toilets available. There was a large selection of fresh bread rolls in the kiosk, which was only open for 2 hours in the morning and evening.

The place is average. Sanitary facilities are clean and up to date. Big disadvantage: Wi-Fi and mobile data usage is not actually available.

Great location, super flexible, very friendly staff, reasonable prices. All in all a very pleasant stay. Arrival at 8.30 p.m. was no problem. Location is perfect for long hikes, as several hiking trails start directly behind the campsite.

Spent a wonderful holiday despite the bad weather there. Greatly located place. Offers everything you need. From there, great hikes are possible even with small children. The old tram in front of the “door” was the highlight for the children. Campsite operators are very friendly and extremely flexible. Spontaneously got a place without pre-booking and then flexibly extended it. We'd love to come back!

I like this campsite very much. It's not too big, there are several levels where you can stand and therefore have more privacy. The toilets and showers are very clean. The CP is nice and central, you can go on great hikes. I'd love to come back.

Without a doubt, this is a place where you can truly relax from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.Getting to Ostrauer Mühle is relatively easy. A big advantage is the ability to use the historic tram that runs between the campsite and Bad Schandau and nearby hiking trails. Local transport is also well organized - the guest card provides free access to public transport, which makes this place very well connected.The campsite makes you feel safe and the overall atmosphere is peaceful. However, as many guests have noted, the pitches are rather small, which may limit the sense of privacy. People who value more space should be prepared for this. Despite this, the area is well managed and the staff are friendly and helpful.The picturesque location between the hills and in the valley of two rivers is something that truly delights. The views are beautiful and the surrounding nature makes you feel close to nature. The campsite is situated in such a way that from many places you can enjoy the view of the mountain landscapes and the flowing stream. Even on the main road you can find quiet corners that allow you to fully relax.Toilets and showers are clean and regularly maintained. Not without significance is the fact that even with a larger number of visitors, the toilets remain clean - this is a great advantage that definitely affects the comfort of your stay. Please note: showers are charged additionally 0.5e / 3min.There is a small shop at the campsite where you can buy basic items, including fresh rolls for breakfast - for me this is a huge advantage because you don't have to leave the campsite to replenish your supplies. However, it is worth remembering that payments in the shop can only be made in cash, which somewhat limits the convenience. Sanitary facilities are equipped with hot water showers, and a washing machine and dryer are available. Unfortunately, telephone and Wi-Fi signals are limited, which may be a challenge for people who need constant access to the Internet. On the other hand, the lack of coverage facilitates complete detachment from everyday duties.Campingplatz und Pension Ostrauer Mühle offers everything a nature and hiking lover needs. The picturesque location, access to numerous trails, cleanliness and friendliness of the staff make it an ideal place to relax. Despite a few inconveniences, such as small plots or lack of coverage, I believe that this campsite has something that attracts and encourages me to come back. Honestly not what I was hoping for. Prices are quite steep and staff wasn't all that helpful. Almost zero places to charge your phone and restaurant continually fully booked. Showers are weird, you only get 3 minutes to shower. Sanitary was also very dirty, I will spare you the details. Very very busy with campers and it's loud even after 10pm. Also my pocket knife was stolen here after leaving it unattended for less than a minute.Definitely my least favourite camping along the malerweg.
