The apartment on the ground floor is very spacious and functionally furnished. You can find everything you need, from dishes to cleaning supplies. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need.The television is connected to the local WiFi, the WiFi is stable and can be used free of charge.The beds are comfortable (slatted frame).The breakfast we booked was rich, with something for everyone.The host Mr. Menge is friendly and helpful.The apartment was not cleaned within a week (which was not a problem for us).A free parking space is available for guests opposite the guesthouse.The location of the guesthouse is perfect - quiet and yet quite centrally located on the Kirnitzschtalbahn. It is only a few minutes walk to the center.We really liked it, we will recommend this guesthouse.

Stayed here for two nights and was totally satisfied. Room was big enough, WiFi included. Bathroom with rain shower. Breakfast was also absolutely okay for the price. Very centrally located. Mr Menge was friendly and helpful. I'd love to come again.

We have just returned from our short vacation. We liked it very much. The Pensoin in Bad Schandau is fairly centrally located. Right next to the spa park, very quiet. Mr. Menge is really super nice and likes to give great tips for excursions. Our room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The shower was quite large and the water temperature was easy to adjust. Nothing was missing... WiFi was free. Watching Netflix wasn't a problem. We were able to park our bikes in the house in a separate room.Breakfast wasn't anything special, but it was more than enough. It was fresh every day and tasted very good.We definitely want to come back again.

One week in a double room including breakfast. Everything you need is there. Even a small fridge in the room. Staff, Mr Menge very friendly. Breakfast room is small and nice, almost family-friendly. Buffet very well prepared and sufficient. Parking in front of the door and WiFi included. We would be happy to come back. 👍👍👍

Top guesthouse with a great location. I went there with a friend last year and we really enjoyed it. The rooms are comfortably furnished. The breakfast was rich and delicious. The owner was very friendly. You can walk into town in 3 minutes. Quietly located with a cozy terrace. I can recommend it without reservation.

We visited one of the guesthouse rooms in 2017. We had booked for several days, but ended our stay after one night. As soon as you entered the building you were met with a musty, damp smell. The feeling of humidity continued in the room... the bed linen felt clammy and you didn't have the pleasant feeling of lying down in a freshly made bed.😖 In addition, all the noises from the next room could be clearly heard! Unfortunately there was no relaxation to be found here...

We were a hiking group of 5 with a dog and were warmly welcomed by Mr. Menge. Dogs are welcome and although it seemed to have been left out when making the reservation, it wasn't a problem to take the dog with you. The breakfast is sufficient and Mr. Menge responded to our personal preferences and special requests were taken into account. The rooms are very nice, spacious and clean. Mr. Menge was always at our side when planning our tour and was able to give us good tips. The terrace offered us a nice time together in the evenings.

Clean and nice, but very noisy (I heard everything from both sides of my room, snoring, TV, toilet noises) and very small. Wasn't out of the room on time at 10 a.m., was immediately called. arrived that the new guest was supposedly at the door at 10 a.m. When I arrived at the guesthouse to vacate my room, the staff was cleaning all the rooms; I didn't see a guest. So that could definitely have been solved in a friendlier way, especially since I... I left early because of the noise.

Great guesthouse with welcome champagne in the room. Warm/funny guest dad, varied breakfast and homely atmosphere!When we asked, Mr. Menge was there to help us every day with good tips for excursions.The guesthouse is very well located for hiking directly into the mountains. There is also plenty of information material available.Various dining options are just a few minutes walk away.Tv and free WiFi are also available.We'd love to come back!LG from Berlin :)
