The whole Hotz family still knows what hospitality means: any questions or requests are responded to immediately, the rooms are as described and absolutely sparkling clean (some even have a balcony)... And the breakfast is a dream: delicious products from our own production such as bread, yoghurt and apple juice 👍🏼 and not forgetting the honey from our own bees.So always happy...

We stayed 3 nights in this great family guesthouse and were very pampered. The delicious, partly home-made breakfast was the morning highlight. The entire property was very clean and well maintained. The rooms are very comfortably furnished and up to date. The whole family, including the little dog Kuno, is very warm and communicative. We would love to come back. Thanks again for everything.

The two of us were on the Main cycle path. The guesthouse means a sweaty detour up the hill. But we didn't regret it.A wonderfully warm welcome from the helpful host couple, a great, large and quiet room with comfortable beds, a generous breakfast with lots of homemade delicacies.In the evening you could sit on the balcony with a bottle of wine and end the day.How nice that there are still such “old school” guesthouses.The area around it looks very attractive; you could even imagine taking a stationary vacation here.PS: Oh, and don't forget: There's an absolutely cuddly little dog that you HAVE to fall in love with.

Very sweet hostess. We arrived much later due to traffic jams on the way, but were received very hospitably by the owner and her dog Kuno. Had a nice breakfast in the morning. Should we pass by again to go for a walk in the area?

My wife and I were vacationing in the region and chose the Pension Stern in Rauenberg and we were more than thrilled. Great and very nice hosts made us feel at home. The breakfast is a dream with, if desired, fried eggs or scrambled eggs with bacon. We had a very spacious room with a bathroom, terrace and parking space. We would like to thank the family again. We have just returned from a third time (6 nights) at Pensuin Stern and we are again looking forward to next year. 😍 Super sweet hostess (Verena) and host (Rüdiger), it feels like you are being welcomed by family. 🥰 They are very helpful and you get plenty of information about what you can do in the area, where it is good to eat, etc... Their son (Veranga) ensures that you can take a carriage ride with their horses through the fields and the forest. They also have a darling dog, Koenö.😉We have already had rooms 1 and 4. They are beautiful spacious rooms, room no. 1 has a private terrace (balcony) and room no. 4 has a private terrace (garden) and parking. The rooms are perfectly neat and clean. Nothing too short. In the morning you can enjoy a delicious breakfast with regional products and homemade apple juice, bread and yogurt. You can also bring sandwiches for lunch. You can also take drinks from the guest kitchen upstairs throughout the day. The surroundings are beautiful and quiet, highly recommended.

Small guesthouse in beautiful surroundings, which is ideal for a short vacation in the Tauber Valley or as a stopover while traveling through. Verena and Rüdiger are warm hosts who provided us with fantastic breakfasts and great tips. A place to feel good!

We were thrilled with the guesthouse. We were warmly welcomed with our two dogs. The rooms are nice and clean. A small general kitchen is stocked with delicious cider and various drinks. The breakfast is simply amazing. Homemade bread, yogurt, honey and apple juice - nothing is missing. The host is even happy to prepare eggs of your choice. We will definitely be back. It's rare to find so much warmth. Thanks for that.
