We went for coffee and cake and got a tiramisu that was really tasty, really fine, light and curly. A tiramisu was enough for three people

Was just there to eat, nice atmosphere, delicious food and plenty of it. Service totally overwhelmed and absolutely not organized, a shame, much more could be done. Price-performance top.

We don't know the Hotel Tschoenschön. But we were downstairs in the “Olivio” restaurant.I would like to put it this way with the rooms: if you have bad rooms in Carolinensiel you won't survive there for long. Since Carolinensiel is also a bit more expensive, the rooms will probably be too. But I can certainly imagine that the rooms are too.I only drank one glass of Lambrusco myself. My wife also drank Lambrusco and ate spaghetti "Frutti Mare". My wife says the food was fantastic, spaghetti was alPerfect. The tomatoes were fruity and the seafood came straight from the sea. Unfortunately, this restaurant is a little over the top in terms of price - it's not cheap. But it's understandable because it's also a tourist area.At the end there was a schnapps on the house or a dessert, which you can choose.

This is a small, fine hotel in a quiet location. It's about 1.5 km to the town and the beach, so it's easy to reach on foot. There is also a small tourist train. The reception was very nice and accommodating. There are parking spaces in front of the hotel so you don't have to walk far.We had a double room upstairs, unfortunately only with a skylight. The furnishings were good, not shabby. The bed was comfortable, a bit soft. And unfortunately with those terrible pillows stuffed with cotton wool or something similar. It's a horror for me because they're far too thick to sleep on properly.Unfortunately there was no air conditioning in the room. You could use a small refrigerator, but it's only enough for two 0.33 bottles. That's too little. The bathroom was modern and clean. Make-up mirror and hairdryer were available. There is a restaurant at the hotel where breakfast was also served. That was definitely enough, the staff was very nice and attentive and also took care of things that weren't there. There were rolls, croissants, toast, cold cuts, cheese, jam, yoghurt and fruit. Also some salmon. No warm egg dishes or bacon. Too bad.Something more fishy on the coast wouldn't be bad.Nevertheless - there was enough choice. We felt comfortable and it was nice.

We were only there for one night, but we were very satisfied with the price/performance ratio. The rooms were newly renovated and clean. When showering, we noticed that the shower tray was either not of particularly high quality or was installed incorrectly - we could see exactly where the substructure was and where it wasn't. The tub always made loud noises when you moved.Otherwise the staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was also good - different types of bread and rolls, spreads, cold cuts, eggs, vegetables, etc. were available.

We had a really, really small room facing the street. Not recommended for people who are claustrophobic. It wasn't a problem for us as we only booked for 2 nights. The room itself was clean and functional. The breakfast in the hotel was sufficient and tasty.Very friendly staff.Parking situation is not ideal.

It's a small hotel with a great location.Unfortunately you have to say, the service is very bad, we had to organize the toilet paper ourselves.Additionally, the bathroom was infested with red mold and the shower was never cleaned during our stay. The room was also not cleaned thoroughly. The breakfast wasn't good because everything came from pre-packaged packages. Even a guest came to us from the bakery and said: "I just got breakfast from the bakery because it doesn't taste good here in the hotel anyway."Unfortunately, in a very nicely located hotel, not a good operation.

We stayed at the hotel for two nights. A dream location and super nice hotel. We were welcomed very nicely. The staff are very friendly and the hotel owners are also always helpful. Our hotel room was simply beautifully furnished, clean and you felt like you were at home. The beach and the city center are not far away, so I recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to get anywhere centrally and quickly. I give this hotel 5 stars because we were absolutely satisfied with our vacation. Thank you very much to you Nordseehotel Dürrenschön, see you next time 👋🏻😊
