Great, state-of-the-art campsite. Beautifully located, Wittmund and shopping opportunities are within walking distance. There is a heated outdoor swimming pool adjacent. The small swimming lake that belongs to the site can be comfortably walked around in about 15 minutes, and a small fenced-in dog beach offers the four-legged friends the necessary cooling off if necessary. All in all a nice place that we will definitely visit again.

What do they offer: great view of the lake 😍Bread service, bike rental, book cell, great beach, machine for cleaning the camping toilets (2€), playground, table tennis, fishing, bus connections directly on site, large parking spaces and and and ♥️♥️♥️

Everything here was modern and top notch. From booking to equipment and staff.The latter is always friendly, helpful and competent.

We spent a very nice 5 days here. The new sanitary building is very clean and modern. Highly recommended for campers looking for peace and relaxation.

In the first week we had a nice place in the second row to the lake with a private bathroom. Great place. Everything is new and of the finest quality.Unfortunately we had to move in the second week. Couldn't extend on this stand. Now 1st row at the lake with a great view of the lake from the bed. Unfortunately, the older sanitary facilities are an imposition.Constant bestial smell of feces in the men's department. The old house should probably be gutted and renovated. The faster the better.There are only 3 toilets, which doesn't seem enough.The newer sanitary building, further back on the meadow parking spaces, is super nice and almost new. Camping is fun, but it's too far away from our place.Likewise, the flushing options in the old sanitary building are too narrow and too few.The campsite is still under construction and there was no construction noise. At the moment there are around 250 parking spaces, it should probably be 700-750. I doubt whether it will still be so nice here.We used the bread roll service. Works reliably and the rolls are good.A five kilo bottle of gas costs €15, at home I pay twelve. The electricity is hereby charged €0.71 per kilowatt hour. We stood on our first pitch with a private bathroom from Tuesday to Saturday and had an electricity bill of €30 for the two of us. We are on the second parking space from Saturday to Friday without a private bathroom and the bill is still outstanding.Particularly noteworthy is the dog-friendliness of this campsite. There are poop bag dispensers and enough trash cans to dispose of the bags. Almost all of the guests have dogs with them.The lake offers its own, fenced-in swimming area for dogs, as well as a beautiful circular path for walking dogs.Unfortunately there is no restaurant on site. Here there is no nice opportunity to eat or at least sit together with a beer in the evening. Wittmund has very little to pray in this regard. The nearest supermarket (net) is about 900 m away, the city center is about 1.5 km away. Unfortunately, Wittmund has very little to offer. There is a fairly large number of empty shops, but there are a lot of snack bars of all nationalities. In the industrial area just outside there is a hardware store, a large Edeka Center and various craft businesses. If something breaks on the caravan, you are in good hands here.We'll be here again next Easter, but on a pitch with a private bathroom in the first row by the lake. We are particularly looking forward to this.The staff and reception staff are super friendly and helpful.
