I took a short vacation here for 3 days and am thrilled with the location, the harbor is at your feet and the sea is a stone's throw away, about a 10 minute walk. The breakfast room is nice and bright and very comfortable, you can look out at the harbor and maybe the sun Let's go. See. The rooms are really modern and beautifully furnished. The breakfast buffet is great, everything is there, delicious fresh smoothies, fresh fruit, delicious waffles and cakes, and occasionally a small selection of fish, coffee pots are always ready with fresh hot coffee. The scrambled eggs If you wish, you will be prepared and Ratzi Fatzi will be very hot at the table. The tourist train runs in front of the front door and you can use it once for free thanks to the card from the hotelIf you go to the neighboring town to shop and eat delicious food, the staff always greet you with a sweet smile and are super attentive - that's what I particularly noticed.😀😀 My CONCLUSION the hotel is highly recommended. It's definitely not the last time I've been here. This is how vacation is fun....😌

A nice, cozy hotel right on the marina and a 5-minute walk from the beach. The owner and the service staff are very friendly and accommodating. I have rarely felt so welcome in a hotel. Always time for a chat. And the guests can also tell that they feel comfortable here. All in all, just a feel-good atmosphere.I booked a single room with a marina view. The fact that it also included a sea view (if you can look over the dike) was an added bonus. At night I could even see the bright red beacon of the Wangerooge lighthouse from the room. The room was functionally furnished with a bed, cupboard, table and chair. The bathroom was clean and there was also a hairdryer as well as soap and shower gel/shampoo.The breakfast times from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. are simply optimal, even for late risers like me. There is everything you need. Various types of bread and rolls, cold cuts including meat and fish buffet as well as olives, dried tomatoes, muesli, cakes, juices, smoothies etc., plus various types of tea or filter coffee. Coffee specialties and egg dishes are prepared upon request, but I didn't take advantage of them. The lounge with a large TV and various books is large and cozy. Here you can enjoy a drink even late at night at a super fair price. Various types of beer (€2.50), soft drinks (€1.50), wine and hot drinks (€0.50) are available. You write down what you took and pay at checkout.Unfortunately, the hotel folder is not entirely up to date. The Hafen-Apotheke in Carolinensiel hasn't existed for about 2 years, which I only noticed when I looked for it in vain. But that doesn't detract from the trip. So I was able to enjoy a free bus ride (without a Germany ticket with NSC €1 per ride) along the coast to Esens. There are further excursion options with the Carobahn or the paddle steamer Concordia, which you should definitely use at least once. Once up and/or down the Harle is simply beautiful.I recommend the hotel to anyone who appreciates personality, maritime flair and coziness and wants to be on the beach quickly.

A very nice hotel! Located directly at the harbor. Beach is easy to reach on foot. A small train or paddle steamer runs to the town of Carolinensiel. On foot it is a longer walk along Harle. The Cliner Quelle is a beautiful swimming pool and you can eat very tasty food there. The doll café is great and you can eat delicious food there too! Will definitely come back

Nice hotel, a bit old-fashioned with carpet in the rooms... you just know it from hotels with carpet... . No air conditioning.Bathroom is modernized and great.Bed was comfortable. The location and the view of the harbor are really great, so you should definitely get a harbor view room.Breakfast was normal continental. Nothing really special, no croissants etc. Just coffee rolls, sausages, cold cuts.I don't see the price of €18 advertised on the door, but rather half at most.Otherwise very friendly staff, check in at a later hour using the door code without any problems. The hotel's parking spaces are limited and tight. Parking on the street is free in the evening until 8 in the morning. In the evening you can sit downstairs in the lobby with a drinks fridge on a trust basis (note to write to).

Nice service staff, clean rooms, great selection of drinks at fair prices in the lounge, breakfast is good, parking space in front of the house, price is okay. One or two things need to be renovated in a modern way. I would come again!

Went there for breakfast today (18 euros per person for non-hotel guests). It definitely wasn't worth it. Egg dishes were prepared upon request. However, one had the impression that hotel guests were preferred. When we asked where our scrambled eggs were, we were told that there were other orders (taken after us but served before us) and that we still had to wait. While the hotel guests all around were served in a friendly and courteous manner, we were left behind. When we wanted to pay we were told we had to wait for the boss. After five minutes the waitress came up to us and said she would call the boss again. When he came there was just a curt "Hello, you want to pay - that's 36 euros". Took the money and said goodbye. Not a word of apology for the wait and nothing like “have a nice day, come back” or anything like that.We cannot recommend the breakfast.

I wasn't a guest, but my friend urgently needed to go to the toilet. When I asked this hotel, the answer was that only hotel guests were allowed to use the toilets. When you consider that you actually have a duty to let someone use the toilet, this is an absolute disgrace. This on the subject of hospitality.
