Pretty outdated, bathroom very much in need of renovation, furniture should be replaced, rather bulky waste. No elevator. Swimming pool way too cold. Employees not motivated. Overall, the house cannot be recommended.Once and not again.

We went to find out that there was a sauna and swimming pool, they would have a sauna for 4 persons, nice and cozy.Swimming pool has been out of action for 3 months ☹️ that was disappointing.Food for breakfast is okay, but it is not replenished when it runs out.Then it's locked until 5:30 p.m. If you're an hour late to register for dinner, you're out of luck.The boss is also the cook and can prepare beautiful plates, but taste leaves much to be desired. We went out to eat and always paid for two days.Our room was very dated, as if I were walking into grandma's house, no safe, kettle, no fridge, bathroom also dated but clean, the rest was the same.But there is nothing to do in the hotel.Too bad I expected more.The area is very beautiful, lots of nature, walking route flat or up the mountain pfffffffff.Tour boat very nice.You don't have to leave it for the environment, but hotel??

Nice hotel for a “girlfriends weekend”. We also booked this because of the beautiful wellness area. Unfortunately this was not usable on our weekend (swimming pool). - Actually not bad if we had been informed BEFORE. We did not receive any small compensation for this (e.g. drink on the house, etc.). It's a shame actually.Nevertheless, the weekend was great with the great excursion options!

We can't recommend it, the rooms are ok, but the bathroom is very outdated and some things are defective or outdated, rusty, stained, etc. We were very disappointed with the food. Instead of a 4 course menu there was a buffet, which really wasn't good. No signage as to what it is. Various grilled meats cannot be distinguished and everything is only lukewarm. The breakfast buffet also disappointing. Scrambled eggs hard and dry like a sponge. The edges of the sausage and cheese were dried out. In 3 days the service didn't even ask if everything was ok or tasted good. We were very disappointed, especially since it was a birthday present. Not worth 4 stars. It was clean but in desperate need of renovation.

We had made a hiking arrangement from Haus am See via groupon. This included breakfast with coffee or tea, hiking maps and a homemade waffle when you return from the hike. And the whole thing for 13.90 euros. I can only recommend it to everyone, nice welcome, delicious, sufficient breakfast. Man goes out stronger. Hikes of various lengths and difficulties are offered and explained. And the waffle at the end rounds off the day.

We arrived in the afternoon at around 4:00 p.m. The entrance door was locked. After I called, an employee came and opened the door and we were allowed to register. We had our room on the 2nd floor, there is no elevator in the 3 star hotel. In addition to the 2 very narrow beds, there were 2 leather armchairs whose leather was so worn that they would have belonged in the trash years ago. There was a swimming pool in the house, to get there we had to go up two flights of stairs from the second floor and then down one again. In the evening there was a 3-course menu, we were not asked what we would like, whether we were vegetarian or whether we didn't eat pork or fish. According to the motto, you eat what comes on the table. We ask ourselves what justification gives this house 3 stars.

From our room, the pool could only be reached from the outside, which was an unfortunate long way away - I don't cross the street in my bathrobe.There is no concealed shower or changing room there.Water quite cold.So I don't see the price-performance ratio, 698 euros for 4 days..., 3 nights...

Across the courtyard past the reception, up the stairs and down the stairs to then get into the swimming pool which is much too cold. Down the stairs again to go to the sauna.Of course then the way back in a bathrobe and across the street?!?A four-course evening menu sounds good at first.Greetings from the kitchenBuns with tomato butterFirst course salmon tartare with salad was a mushy consistencyCream of fennel soup, an oversalted broth that tasted like everything, but not what the chef had written on the menu.Main course chicken breast in sage sauce with two types of rice.Meat was okay. There was too much salt in the soup, then too little here. Sage sauce gave the impression that it came from the manufacturer with the knot in the spoon.Dessert mascarpone on fruit sauce with alcohol.Definitely not for someone who doesn't like alcohol, or perhaps can tolerate it.Staff and owner friendly.But no questions asked if everything was okay.You have to accept it that way.All in all, for a “wellness weekend” it was more of a challenge for the guests.

Disappointing!The water in the swimming pool was so cold that we couldn't use it. Unfortunately, I have only now read (in reviews that are 2 years old) that this problem has been around for a long time.The room is ok, spacious and with a nice view, but the shower head doesn't stay in the holder and the hairdryer goes off after a minute due to overheating.The 4 course menu on the first evening was unbelievable. Cream of fennel soup was totally over salted, chicken breast with sage sauce tasted like gravy dissolved in water and the dessert had alcohol in it, which was not declared. A no-go! We canceled dinner on the second evening, even though it was included in the price. We then went to another restaurant nearby, where we also met guests from our hotel who no longer wanted to eat there.When checking out, the operator didn't even ask if we were satisfied. Maybe he already knew the answer.

Good service, quiet location, nice kitchen, but the room... Good bed and clean, yes, the door to the terrace remains open with a crack, the bathroom is 40 years old and the roller shutter is broken. The curtain cannot be closed completely so there is no privacy.

We took part in an arrangement as a hiking group. Have breakfast in this hotel restaurant, then go hiking and stop by again to eat a waffle biscuit. We really liked the breakfast and the rolls, as well as the selection of bread. The waffle also tasted very good. There were 7 of us and we felt comfortable there. The service was very alert and quick to serve.It was just a shame that we couldn't eat warm food before 5 p.m. That would have rounded everything off nicely.

I stayed here on the Wilderness Trail, and as a hiker you don't need excessive luxury.But it doesn't have to be 70 years old.The bathroom with green eye cancer tiles, a shower with a two-handle faucet that only knows boiling or ice cold if you can even get through the narrow shower partition.A television that doesn't receive any channels, no guest book with various explanations.Check-in was chilly and breakfast was just enough.

This place is not for disabled people, only stairs no elevator
