Conveniently located on the Wildnis Trail. The hotel is a little outdated but very comfortable beds, and big breakfast served! Did not see the host again after we arrived.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. A good breakfast and a perfect location for going on a wonderful walk. Einruhr is peaceful, with a lovely swimming pool in the lake. There are a few restaurants with good food. Some close at 9.

Good accommodation, breakfast included. Good starting point for bike tours or hikes. The MTB Marathon Erkensruhr is just 3.4 km away.

Very conveniently located hotel if you want to cycle or walk in the Eifel. not fancy, but everything is fine. the two ladies were nice and helpful, there is a lockable bicycle shed and an electric pump. the breakfast is tasty and sufficient for a long bike ride. from the hotel you can walk to the lake and to several restaurants. from Einruhr you can take several beautiful bike rides around the lake, to Monschau, to Vogelsang. the scenery is beautiful and the cycling facilities great.

Unfortunately, I can only agree with many of the reviews. Very unfriendly reception. Everything is very old. Although everything was very clean. Breakfast was all prepackaged. Nobody has ever asked if everything is okay... I'm happy to pay just under 100 euros per night, but unfortunately it's not justified here

The guesthouse is beautifully centrally located. The breakfast and the room are ok. Everything is a bit dusty. The price of just under 100 euros was too high for the standard.

Unfortunately not a nice experience. We were hikers and were looking for accommodation for the night. The bed sheet was full of stains, after which we could no longer stay in the guesthouse. The other furnishings of the guesthouse are also very old. But this would have been okay if it had been clean. Unfortunately not a recommendation!

For nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts, this is a paradise. There is also a steep incline nearby with several hairpin bends that make for a thrilling ride.Value for money:Prices are very competitive and offer excellent value for money. For travelers looking for inexpensive but high-quality accommodation, Haus Helene is the ideal choice.Rooms and facilities:The rooms are clean and well equipped. A special highlight was the brand new barn, which offered our racing bikes excellent protection.Food:The breakfast was above average and very varied. From fresh fruit and pastries to a selection of cheeses and cold cuts, there was something to suit every taste.

Never again!! We arrived and only a head came through the door and we were told a room number. Everything was on the table for breakfast, which was good, but you didn't see anyone who belonged to the house. When all the guests were in the breakfast room, the head from the day before came through the door and said “good morning”. It was so impersonal for sooo expensive money!!!!! Before and after the Eifelsteig tour we had very nice accommodations!!! that were cheaper and more personal.

In some reviews, you have already heard the word spooky, strange, etc.; it comes from the impersonalized approach by the owners. They tell you the room number and the floor, just that;) If you are an introverted person, you would absolutely love it.Pros: our room number 1 faced the hill, was clean, and had a big bed; the mattress was ok, and good warm blankets. They offered standard German breakfasts like eggs, coffee, butter, buns, etc.Cons: no hair dryer, no fridge, no glasses/water, no kettle (only at the floor table), only transparent curtness / nor dark ones, no wheelchair friendly.All in all ok for one night, there is a lot of room for improvement. Will we stay again, probably not:=)

The room was ok for one night, TV didn't show any programsMattress not necessarily recommended for back sufferersService takes some getting used to...Arrival: "Room X - key is in"Breakfast: tables set, coffee pot on the table, juice in a glass, sausage and cheese on a plate, egg in an egg cup, bread in a basket... everything open🙄No one in sight, so just sit down and eat....🤷♀️Departure similar to arrival...It was ok for one night, but I wouldn't opt for a longer stay

If there were 0 stars, I would give them. Never go there!!!!The first impression was very impersonal. You weren't asked for your name when booking, but were sent straight to your room without any further information.At first impression the room seems quite large, but old-fashioned. After just a quick look I found a lot of dirt and rubbish. The window sill probably hadn't been cleaned for a while because there were still dead flies there, the toilet brush was very dirty, there were several hairs on the bed, and there were stains on the walls and floor where you don't want to know what it was or how long it was there There are already dirty towels or there was dirt in many other cornersFind spider webs.After I asked an older lady about it, she was immediately met with a lack of understanding. Another room that was offered to me looked similar. Another lady came over and became very harsh and unfriendly towards me. In the end, this lady threw me out the door at 6 p.m.

It hadn't been cleaned for at least six months. There was a lot of dust on the mirror shelf, sink and window sills. Only ATA was poured into the toilet and left like that. Even though it had been cold outside for a long time, we had to turn on the heating when we got into the room. The bright spot, however, was the breakfast. That was very good.

Because the room I booked in the Seemöwe was not available due to overbooking, I was redirected to the guesthouse. Bed looked like it had been used before - floor shower and toilet neither clean, nor toilet paper, no towels - never again
