Booked spontaneously in this guesthouse for a short weekend.We received a very friendly welcome, the room was explained, there was free tea and water. Rustic room with wooden paneling, large and very clean. Bathroom with large showerComfortable bed, electric shutters.Breakfast was more than sufficient, eggs, scrambled eggs etc. were freshly prepared from real eggs (no industrial mash), fresh fruit salad, not from a can, fixed seating, packed lunch included.Since there are stairs leading to the guesthouse rooms, climbing stairs shouldn't be a problem. Apartment apparently on the ground floor.Free parking spaces in the immediate vicinity.We felt very comfortable.

My wife and I recently stayed at the pension as part of walking the Eifelsteig, and found the accommodations to be excellent. Clean, modern, and and very good, fresh breakfast in which the owner went out of her way to accommodate our vegan diet, which was not always the case in the hotels and pensions we stayed at. Highly recommended.

Phew, I hosted friends there yesterday...The question about whether I could have breakfast there (for a fee, of course) escalated within 30 seconds from the operator so much that he threw me out. As you can imagine, nothing like this has ever happened to me.What do I learn:Be careful when communicating with the owner. I'm drawing my conclusions and preferring to accommodate family and friends in other beautiful guesthouses in Gemünd in the future.

Accepts booking with late check in noted, but has no late check in and then leaves the customer with the cancellation fees. On the phone and friendly, not accommodating. Seems like a scam. …

Very ideally located holiday apartment on the ground floor in the Eifel, hiking trails and shopping opportunities as well as restaurants nearby. Comfortable, large beds, large living room and kitchen. Wheelchair accessible bathrooms.

A very nice accommodation on the Eifelsteig in the middle of Gemünd. I received a friendly welcome, the room was very nice, cozy, new and clean, the breakfast was rich and tasty. Thank you for your hospitality and all the best.

Spacious neat room! Beautiful area for motorcyclists and walkers. I was allowed to park the motorcycle in a safe private parking lot. Good breakfast to start the day. You can even put together a packed lunch at no extra cost. Pleasant people. You immediately feel welcome! Recommended!

Super nice and clean room. The reception was very friendly, even though we arrived a few minutes early.The breakfast was also good with delicious fresh fruit salad. We were given bags for the leftovers so we could take them with us on the next stage of the hike. There was water and tea in the room.The boss was very open and friendly. We were thrilled.

A very nice guesthouse, good hostess/host. very friendly ! Guesthouse is beautiful and very clean. If there were 10 stars to give, I would have done so :)Unfortunately, Gemund was also affected by the flood disaster in July 2021, which means there is quite a bit of vacancy. All in all a beautiful environment, highly recommended..

Hello,we are 3 couples between the ages of 50 and 60 years old. We were there for 3 nights, unfortunately not enough, you could also spend an entire vacation here.The guesthouse, or as the owner, Ms. Müller, called it “Refugio” was excellent. The guesthouse is lovingly run by the owner and, together with her husband, the couple offers excellent service.We were happy to accept the tour tips for the Eifelsteig from Ms. Müller. We will be happy to come back at the next opportunity!
