Very good food and friendly service. You try to cook really upscale food and it works quite well. The prices are a bit too high. But we had a nice evening.

Located directly in Waldkirchen's old town, the restaurant Zum Storchen invites you to eat with an attractive menu.The ambience can still be improved slightly, my seat was in quite a niche.Other than that, I was extremely satisfied. The service staff were infectiously friendly and very attentive.From a culinary point of view, I was completely taken care of from starter to dessert.The Vitello Tonnato was very different from the Piedmontese original, but tasted just as brilliant.The ricotta slices were also to die for.At the end there was an excellent almond cake.A very successful evening!

The ambience is modern and appealing. The service was nice and attentive. The food was tasty and fresh, quite heavily salted in places (and I'm not sensitive). The high price, which did not match the performance, and a dirty wine glass led to the devaluation. All in all, really tasty food with an exorbitant price for the service! I think we probably won't come back.

Food excellent, fresh and partly regional.We had made a reservation and got a call in the morning that there would only be a limited menu in the evening due to staff shortages in the kitchen. So, if we had wanted to, we could have looked for an alternative. Top!But we didn't want to, so we had two starters, two main courses and two desserts to choose from in four menu combinations or individually.I had a burrata with pesto and herb salad from Xaver (local vegetable farmer), a superbly fried tuna fillet in wasabi cream sauce and raspberry sorbet with hazelnut crumble. All very tasty.

The restaurant has the best cuisine in Waldkirch and beyond! We are regular guests there and are always very satisfied! The menu changes from time to time and the soups in particular are very good, but the main courses and desserts are also top-notch in terms of taste. Like the restaurant, the hotel is also family-run and highly recommended! Here you can't go wrong!
