Comfortably furnished hotel in Black Forest style. Sufficiently large rooms with their own balcony, WiFi and TV (including Smart TV such as Netflix access etc.). Beds are made daily by the house boy, including changing towels as requested. Bathroom with shower and shampoo/shower gel and hairdryer.Parking lots available; Depending on the booking, this can be a problem. Bus stop 200 m nearby; With Kono's card you can use the bus/train for free.Unfortunately, very loud street noise, which disturbs the peace day and night. Great view of the surrounding vineyards. But: when I advertise a rich breakfast buffet for €30, I don't expect "YES" baked rolls from the nearest supermarket or sponge cake like from the retirement home. Nothing is replenished on the buffet - if you show up for breakfast later than 8 a.m., there will be no more fresh fruit. You have to ask for something to be refilled. Unfortunately, you are not asked for any further wishes at the table. You imagine service differently. And I've never heard of the 30€ (!) breakfast including the use of WiFi and parking. We'll probably choose something different next time, because every Extrablatt Café offers me a top-notch breakfast buffet

Nice hotel with 80s charm. - Hosts are friendly, service is good and the room was very clean, functional and spacious. Beds a bit hard but that's a matter of discretion. - Most of the guests (except us) were over 60. Therefore the hotel seems a bit old-fashioned. The hotel is located directly on a busy street. Therefore the traffic noise was a bit annoying when the window was open. Breakfast is ok but not more... I was missing some variety. Unfortunately there were no scrambled eggs, bacon or sausages. Parking space at the hotel is limited. Unfortunately we had to park some of the way away on the side street. The restaurant and menu are also a bit “out of date”, but the food is fresh and well-crafted. Prices overall ok for the region. Hotel is a good starting point for activities.

We received a very friendly welcome from the owner for our short stay over New Year's Eve. The room was also available for us before the usual check-in time. There are enough parking spaces directly at the hotel, so it is also a short walk to the entrance area. The hotel itself makes a good impression from the outside. Large dining room where meals are served at reserved tables. Small menu also available for external guests (except on days off). Price range rather high. The perceived offer for New Year's Eve was okay in terms of price/performance.The location of the hotel is directly on the thoroughfare from St. Peter - Denzlingen/Waldkirch. Many hiking opportunities starting from the hotel or in the surrounding area. With the Konus card you receive, you can use public transport by bus and train free of charge over a large area. Freiburg is also easy to reach without a car. From there there is an S-Bahn to Tittisee practically every 20 minutes. There are enough alternative restaurants or things worth seeing in the town and its districts. There is a large food market as well as a large butcher's shop (in the commercial area) with an attached 24-hour shop and lunch menu (weekdays), which offers a special selection of meat/steaks in the shop and also online.
