Clean and well-run hotel with a restaurant and outdoor area in Bad Bertrich. The prices of the food in the restaurant are a bit steep, but the quality is good!

We can't rate the rooms, but:- Edit: we found out afterwards that our group size wasn't announced, so it's a little better- mixed up orders- Conflicting statements about the availability of wines- Dressing = vinegar- Beer = wheat- No cutlery/not enough cutlery- 28€ for a schnitzel- forgotten orders

Booked a short vacation spontaneously.Arriving at the quietly located hotel and room with a balcony was simply perfect. Everyone was very friendly and helpful, you were immediately greeted with a smile. The single room with bathroom and balcony was nice and clean. Ok, the TV remote control might need to be replaced, but I can also watch TV at home 😉 Since there is no carpet in my room (I assume in the entire hotel), it is unfortunately noisy in the rooms. It may not be so pleasant for all guests. Since I traveled with a dog, I thought the floor was perfect, who knows what's in a carpet. The tarte flambée with a glass of Riesling on the outdoor terrace (with a view of the quiet park or the rocks) tasted great. Thank you again for this 😋. The breakfast is plentiful, e.g. small rolls, croissants, cold cuts, jam, chocolate, honey, fruit, muesli, yoghurt, scrambled eggs, salmon, bacon and sausages. A fully automatic coffee machine for coffee, cappuccino, latte, etc. something for everyone, tea, milk and orange juice, even a bottle of sparkling wine and water was available in a cooler 😊. If something was missing, all you had to do was ask and your wish would be granted. Even the dog was allowed into the breakfast room. Now I have to say, it's a small dog and he sat nicely under the table and didn't bark. So that he didn't bother any guest😊. The parking lot is close to the entrance, a few parking spaces are even covered, just great and still not loud. The beautiful park at the hotel invites you to slow down, the view of the rocks is very interesting, and there are small, pretty shops and restaurants in the town.Many thanks to the whole team again, we'll definitely see each other again 😃

The hotel has been stylishly modernized without losing the old charm. (see photos) Our room at the back facing the Venengarten had a beautiful view of the surrounding area, where you can go hiking. (Most beautiful hiking trail in Germany 2023!) The room is equipped with two cocktail chairs that give the room a modern touch. Even when the summer temperature was 30 degrees, it was possible to sleep well there.The employees were all friendly, from reception to waiters to the kitchen! I would go there again.

We had room number 114. Very nicely furnished, a mix of modern and classic. The size of the room is perfect. The bathroom is beautiful. The balcony could be made more comfortable and a little more opaque, but that's only mentioned in passing.The nostalgic thing is, among other things, that you still get a classic room key, wonderful.The friendliness of all the hotel staff is particularly noteworthy.You don't want to leave any wishes unfulfilled.Definitely eat at the hotel!!!!!!It was soooo delicious, definitely a highlight. Every wish will be fulfilled!The breakfast is rich, several types of bread and different rolls. In terms of toppings, spreads, etc., everything you could want is there. Muesli, quark, fruits etc. great!You can have your egg dishes freshly prepared.All around, a great and beautifully located hotel.What else should be mentioned is that there are parking spaces right next to the house, some of which are even covered.We will definitely book this hotel again!

We are here for the third time in a row. The reason for this is the staff: simply great! Everyone is attentive and very nice! And Jan, the chef: what he conjures up on the plate... I'm at a loss for words, simply amazing. Then Weronika, who makes breakfast an experience. We can only say thank you and will keep coming back 👌

Hotel is a bit run down. Nice rooms, but with several small flaws. Water gets warm very slowly.Very nice and funny staff (hotel and restaurant)There is a small park right in front of the door for games, yoga or a walk. There are beautiful hiking trails with waterfalls in the surrounding area.The dinner tastes exceptionally delicious, a completely different seasoning than you are used to. There are many different wines.Breakfast was great. Enough selection, very nice and courteous waitress/cook who comes to the table and asks whether you would like crepes with apple or other different delicious dishes freshly prepared.There are several restaurants nearby. It's best to take a look at the reviews in Maps beforehand.Cochem can be reached in half an hour by car. The city and the Reichsburg are worth a short excursion.

In the end I was very satisfied. We ate there twice. The welcome was warm, the furnishings were quite tasteful. We had an excellent veal fillet, a premium burger and linguine alla Bolognese. Everything was tasty and suggestions were fully listened to. Thank you.

2 times 2 overnight stays great. The third time we had problems with the heating and shower. (cold) Notified in service. Unfortunately it was not passed on to the hotel management. The next day we discussed the problem with the hotel management. The owner wanted to come up with something. Regarding a discount or something similar.The next morning no one knew. Paid the full price. However asked for feedback. No response after 2 weeks.Call from us. Spoken to the hotel management themselves. He would think about it again and get back to you by the next morning at the latest. But not reported yet...We would have liked to come more often, but it's over for us now...
