This hotel is the best familyoriented hotel I have ever visited. Everything is arranged for a family to have the best possible holiday with small children. …

We were very surprised to see how they could keep up such high level of standards and entertainment. Despite having a huge amount of rooms, everything is very smooth, with high quality and the personal is flexible and very kind. Thanks again, the entire family loved the stay and the 3 days we spent felt like a month of holiday !

The hotel is the perfect kinder hotel - so many things for the kids to do it is impossible to be bored. We have visited many kinder hotels and this one is at the top.The new rooms are clean, well appointed. Only missing is rolladens. With it so bright in the summer months the curtains in the main bed/living area do not block out the bright sun. The curtains in the childrens bedroom are much darker. Why were these not also used in the main bedroom?Food is superb. I read the negative food reviews and can only conclude that these people must not have actually stayed here. The food is varied with many options, including lots of fresh cut fruit and veggies.Staff is welcoming, friendly, and helpful - even to those of us who do not speak German. Our big negative is the amount of flies. They are everywhere. It’s as if the hotel was built on swampland. They are in all the common areas, in the dining room swarming the food. It is such a shame because the amount of time we spent shooing flys away was ridiculous and detracts from all the other great qualities of the hotel. I’m not sure what can be done about this as it looks like fly lamps have been tried, but they are not successful.

We selected this hotel for a six-night stay, expecting a high level of service given its price of EUR 500 per night. However, we were quite disappointed by the limited services and the overall quality of the hotel. I initially believed it to be a 5-star establishment, but it turned out to be a 4-star hotel. Even with a 4-star rating, I anticipated a more satisfactory experience. From the beginning, the hotel informed us that daily housekeeping was not standard and asked how often we required it, I agreed to housekeeping every second day, although I personally believe daily cleaning is essential, especially when traveling with children. After two nights, we received fresh towels, but two nights later, there was no housekeeping at all. The room became messy, with spilled milk on the floor and various other incidents involving our kids. When I inquired about the missing housekeeping, there were no apologies offered. Instead, they simply promised to send housekeeping that day. Despite my patience, around 4 hours later, the room remained untouched, with dirty towels and a full ashtray on the balcony. I took matters into my own hands and started cleaning during my holiday. I returned to the reception at around 3 pm to inquire about the delay, but again, no apologies were given, and they informed me they would contact housekeeping. My daughter and I went to enjoy some sports, and upon our return, there was still no housekeeping service, forcing us to use dirty towels and endure the unpleasant odor from the full ashtray. At this point, my frustration reached its peak, and instead of enjoying my vacation with my daughter, I had to spend my dinner time writing this feedback. In essence, the hotel's service, particularly the basic cleaning services, were unacceptable for the price we were paying, especially EUR 500 per night. Additionally, the sauna area lacked proper-sized towels, another strange cost-cutting measure. The requirement to make reservations a day in advance for the kids' club also made our holiday experience less relaxing and more regimented. In summary, this hotel is overpriced and fails to deliver value for money. I would perhaps rate it as a 3-star establishment, but due to the dirty room and the lack of response after multiple interactions with the reception, it deserves no more than 1 star.Check-out experience:Last evening, the reception confirmed a late checkout for us. My daughter went to the kids club while I returned to our room briefly. Unfortunately, the housekeeping staff entered our room without knocking, which was quite rude. Later, around 12 pm, someone knocked on our door, and when I opened it, the housekeeper questioned why we were still in the room. I explained our late check-out, and the housekeeper responded with an inappropriate phrase “scheisse” in front of my daughter. This behavior was completely unacceptable.I went to the reception to address the issue and express my concern about their employee's use of rude language in front of my daughter. The receptionist explained that the late check-out had only been confirmed for the hotel area, not our room. I have 25 years of experience in hospitality, and I've never encountered a late check-out that didn't include the room. Even if such a policy existed, it should have been clearly communicated to guests.Unfortunately, there were no apologies for the rude behavior or the intrusion into our room without knocking. We promptly packed our bags and checked out. Even my seven-year-old daughter commented on the hotel's poor service

As an American, English speaking family, we were concerned the language barrier may negatively impact our experience. I could not have been more wrong! Most staff are English speaking and when not, they were incredibly patient and helpful with our poor German. It's also worth noting, at the time of our stay, we were also the only visibly Black presenting family. To our delight, the staff treated us fairly and made us feel comfortable from the moment we walked in the door. Everyone took their time to explain the details and services of the resort. At no point did we feel rushed or like an inconvenience for asking too many questions. The food was typically German with a few Italian or Mediterranean dishes. Everything was prepared fresh and allergens were labeled. I appreciate the gluten free options made available at the kids buffet section and the beverage dispensers are vastly available. My children had a wonderful time at the Happy Club and enjoyed the pony ride and watching the sheep in the barn. The staff was kind and made them feel special. I’m grateful for the experience they got to share and the memories that will truly last a lifetime. My only complaint is 4 days was not long enough! This was a wonderful introduction to the family hotel atmosphere and I look forward to returning for future holidays.

The entire hotel is designed to be a perfect place to stay with children. The rooms (and open areas) have all necessary facilities. There are enough attractions for the small ones regardless of the time of the year and weather outside. Also food is a separate adventure: great choice of dishes.
