Have been there about 6 times. 7 times was wonderful again. The Holzer family is very nice and accommodating. Fantastic views as always. Apartments are very clean and cozy. We'll always come back!

Full of curiosity and anticipation, we headed to the Holzer organic farm in Niedersonthofen for the first time for our 3-generation family vacation. We are: an Allgäu expert in the first generation, two active travelers who have already visited the Allgäu here and there in the second generation - and a two-year-old in the third generation who has not yet been infected by the Allgäu.It was a success and a full recovery for all of us:Grandma was able to enjoy in peace and meet her old friends from the region in order to connect old stories with new developments in the Allgäu. The pulsation of a modern, responsibly run organic farm was in theory (very interesting introduction by farmer Antonius) very interesting for all adults and encouraged reflection on the really demanding challenges of modern country life, which this organic farm masters with great commitment and at the same time thoughtful calm .This is exactly what affected the animals and all of us. The best thing was the harmonious experience of everyday life on the farm and in the adjacent forage pastures.The big highlight and meeting points for the children of all ages present were the stable and feeding times as well as the new swing set and the large trampoline behind the house.The atmosphere at the farm was relaxed, both among the Holzer family and among us guests, open to all current concerns and in many ways more than “just” hospitable. Needs of all kinds were always carefully inquired about and taken into account as best as possible. Despite all the professionalism, you didn't feel like you were being courted, but rather that you were actively involved in what was going on at the court. This was also expressed in a beneficial way when all the guest and farm children played together. Top grades beyond all the assessment categories sought were already received daily from the children on site.For this we would like to thank the Holzer family and their children, who so generously and trustingly allowed us all to participate in their everyday lives.We wish the farm continued good luck and a new opportunity to see you again.

Our favorite place in the Allgäu. We are here for the fourth time and feel completely at home.Very loving, friendly hostsThe children are allowed to look after cows, horses, donkeys etc. during stable time in the afternoon.

We were able to spend a wonderful autumn holiday on the farm. The farm is very quiet and you have a great view of Lake Niedersonthofen from here. Nevertheless, it is a great starting point for a variety of activities. The Holzer family gave us a very warm welcome and were always open to questions. Our children loved stable time and were always excited about what tasks awaited them. We are happy to recommend the farm and will certainly stop by again for a holiday! A big thank you to the Holzer family for the great vacation!

It was our first time on the Holzer family's farm and we were very impressed by the warmth and the all-round carefree package you get there.The whole family always makes sure that you feel comfortable, the apartment is so lovingly furnished, you have everything you need, including a beautiful view of the lake and the mountains!In the stable everyone was allowed to take part in feeding the animals, cleaning out the animals or catching chickens.Our daughter was allowed to ride, whether on a horse or a donkey. There was always something to see or experience.Everything was as you would wish. Nothing was left to be desired. We would like to come again!

We felt very comfortable. All in all, it was a great farm holiday, just as we wanted it to be. Every afternoon our daughter looked forward to “stable time” when we had to look after the animals. The holiday apartment was clean and comfortable, the stable was bright and friendly, the family was nice and accommodating. The bread roll service and the delicious milk straight from the cow were great. There is also a lot to do with children in the area. Location is therefore also great.We'd love to come back!As a suggestion, we would perhaps like to have a barbecue evening together.

We are an older couple and spent a week on holiday at the Holzer-Hof with our son, daughter-in-law and two grandchildren and occupied two apartments.The farm is in a very quiet yet central location for interesting trips to the surrounding area. When we arrived, we were pleased to receive a very warm welcome from the young farmer, Mrs. and Mr. Holzer. Our small and nicely furnished apartment was completely sufficient for two adults with one or two children. The children's sleeping area, which is located under the bedroom ceiling and can only be reached via a vertical ladder on the wall, is adventurous for the kids. What is pleasing is that you can enter the stables and pay a visit to the surprisingly friendly animals. Children are allowed to help on the farm and, if they can, even muck out the horse and donkey stables. The four existing cats also enjoy every petting session.In short, we spent a very pleasant and varied holiday at the Holzer-Hof and are happy to recommend it, especially to families with children.

We had a very nice week of vacation on the farm!Despite the holiday and the busy time during the hay harvest, everyone was super nice and we felt very comfortable. The apartment left nothing to be desired and the view from the balcony was great.Our child also had a lot of fun with the pedal vehicles provided and it was great that the children were allowed to help out in the stable.A clear recommendation for a family holiday on the farm!

A very beautiful area with views of the mountains and the lake. A very well-kept farm, you can tell that everyone puts their heart and soul into it and the animals are doing well. Very friendly hosts. You could experience the work in the stables up close every day and learn a lot. A very great experience for the children.

Vacation with grandchildren on the Holzer farm in NiedersonthofenA beautiful farm located in the middle of lush meadows.The apartment "Gänseblümchen" is very cozy and has a fantastic view. The surroundings are very beautiful and there are many destinations that are easy to reach. The farm is run by the Holzer familyManaged in an exemplary manner.The cows live in a new freestall and can move freely and have a huge area to graze.We were able to watch milking and feeding in the stable.Annemarie answered our questions competently.ItA lot of work goes into producing organic milk.We really enjoyed our stay with the Holzer family.All the best to you and your beautiful herd of cows

A beautifully situated farm from which you can start great hiking tours. It is run by a super warm family. The apartments are lovingly and warmly furnished, and the various animals are also kept. You are welcome to help with the animals, children are also wonderfully involved or can spend time in the 2 playgrounds at the house. There is also a lovely village shop and an old mountain cheese dairy nearby. The view of lush meadows, snowy mountains and the lake simply invite you to relax!
