I stayed here for two weeks and I was touched by the friendliness of the guesthouse owners. It was a wonderful experience. The apartments are well appointed and very clean. The breakfast was delicious, especially the pastries. Thank you for the great stay!

It was a very nice accommodation with plenty of breakfast. Were very satisfied. A hiking paradise and you can take the bus 🚌 and train 🚆 with the guest card. We'll definitely be back. 👍🏻🏔🥾

There were three of us and we had a two room apartment.Sun on the balcony in the evening ☀️The rooms were very clean and comfortably furnished.The breakfast was very good and extensive.An absolute recommendation for a quiet stay.

Super nice hosts, who also run the bakery, provide fresh rolls, bread and pastries. Room very spacious with kitchenette and a large bathroom and balcony. Lots of sockets🎉We'll definitely come back

We found ourselves stranded here somewhat unexpectedly because the actual accommodation was overbooked. The landlady gave us a warm welcome and we were allowed to move into “the Alm” in an absolutely cute holiday apartment (fully equipped kitchen with fridge and coffee machine). The underfloor heating was already on and all we had to do was stretch out in the four-poster bed. At breakfast the pampering continued with coffee, pastries and bread and super tasty pretzels from our own bakery, as well as vegetable sticks, salmon, cheese and sausage, fruit salad and muesli and if you wanted an egg or even scrambled eggs. An absolutely child-friendly family business with great bus connections to the Schliersee train station and Spitzingsee right on the doorstep. The chaos around our accommodation was the best thing that could have happened to us and we will definitely come back! Thank you also for the offered shuttle to the train station! Keep it up!

We lived in the apartment: 2 rooms with a small kitchen and a quiet balcony. Extensive breakfast in the cozy dining room, with everything from the in-house bakery. The Gritscher family is very kind and spoiled us! Short walk to the Josephstal waterfalls and about 1 hour hike to Spitzingsee. Bus stop right in front of the house.

The Gritscher guest house offers the perfect oneStarting point to explore the region around the Schliersee. We had a 45sqm apartment for 4 people and everything was very clean and well maintained! The guest cards offer some discounts, for example we used them at the Slyrs distillery. However, there is a tourist tax, which must be paid on site (€2 per day & person). We were overwhelmed by the breakfast. It was a very rich buffet with fresh baked goods from our own bakery (simply delicious). The built-in kitchen could be a little betterbe equipped because we once prepared some pasta here and were missing the lid and a large wooden spoon. Besides, would. We would like a place to store our skis/snowboards because we were there to ski. But these are just small things :)

A very nice guest house. The breakfast is plentiful and delicious 👍🏻 great location for hiking and cycling. From Josefstal you can easily get to Spitzingsee, Schliersee and Tegernsee. We would have liked to give 5 stars but the cleanliness of the rooms leaves a lot to be desired. Cobwebs and huge harvestmen everywhere in the corners. The hostess is friendly but lacks the warmth that we are used to in Bavaria.
