Initially I stayed for a week and had a pleasant stay. The landlord was friendly and pointed me to restaurants in the area (which were all really good recommendations). Aside from random encounters on site upon my departure/return, I was not disturbed. The weather had been particularly stormy all week and I was offered an umbrella and given tips on how to keep cool in the room.Secondly, the accommodation is reasonable for the relatively cheap price. There are rules (which previous reviewers have grappled with) that are explained in advance and are reasonable. There were a few small things that weren't perfect but didn't affect my stay and were reasonable. If I were to visit locally again I would stay here.

I stayed at the pension for 3 days with my 16-year-old daughter and my friends. The landlady gave us a very warm welcome. We really liked the rooms and the service, there was a nice atmosphere there. Pension has a very good location and it is very quiet.We will be happy to come back.

We were warmly welcomed by the landlords. We, 6 friends, spent 3 wonderful days in Velten. The rooms were very clean, the kitchen had everything we needed.The beds were very comfortable, the mattresses were not worn out.The landlady even fulfilled our special requests.The location of the guesthouse and the peace and quiet were very good for us. We will definitely be back next year.

Very nice landlord. Rooms are clean. Kitchen is fully sufficient. We enjoyed the peace and quiet. And it was also very pleasant to go to Berlin using public transport. We were there for 7 days. And there were no problems.

Unfortunately you cannot give minus stars. I cannot and would not recommend this accommodation at all. As soon as I checked in on the stairwell, I was told in a commanding tone that, among other things, I had to walk in socks throughout the house and that nothing would be eaten in the room. In times of Corona, I was required to eat my meals exclusively in a dining room (approx. 10 square meters) and to share the room with strangers from all over the world. With the carpet in the stairwell and partly in the room, I'm still not sure whether it's still carpet or leather. The standard of the furnishings cannot be linked to any period of the past. I would say everything that the bulky waste has to offer. Definitely not contemporary.To shorten my review: Both landlords were extremely unfriendly, even rude. Room and bathroom in need of renovation. Under no circumstances does the price-performance ratio fit.

Short vacationI was here for a long weekend. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. My room and bathroom were super clean and the bed was comfortable. For me, this guesthouse is at the top of my wish list if I want to stay in Berlin and the surrounding area. Dear Ms. Tübbicke, thank you very much for your cheerful manner, for patiently answering all of my questions and I hope that you will have a room available for me again when the opportunity arises.

1. Sneaky, impudent and extremely arrogant - these "operators" do everything they can to alienate guests. As a "guest" you are not welcome here. Matches other bad reviews.2. Rip-off warning: Be sure to take photos of all stains in the room and document them with witnesses. You are cheekily accused of making stains!3. Paternalism like in a Catholic monastery boarding school...annoying and annoying...4. Operators are lying when it comes to booking promises - they continue to rent out without warning despite booking promises..! There should be 5 minus points here and the guesthouse should be closed. - Rooms are different than in the pictures, kitchen is carelessly spartan, broken dishwasher...

The landlords obviously don't enjoy renting. Rude, inflexible, stingy, narrow-minded, foolish. Two hotplates are available for nine people. There is no oven. Dishwasher is defective. Generally not enough crockery and kitchen equipment. For example, no corkscrew, no large pot, no large pan. Kitchen radio doesn't work. I wasn't allowed to sleep on the side of the bed that I would have preferred. Despite my longer stay, I had to pay bills weekly and in cash.
